And before you build this thing, first you have to buy and bolt down all these wood working power tools to your garage floor, and then before that, you gotta buy a house with a three car garage to hold all your workshop tools and give yourself room to build it. Then you gotta work 30 years at an oil refinery to save up enough money to buy that house and lot. Or ... you could just spend the money and buy a real Shmidt array pedalboard and spend the rest of your time laerning to play rock songs on your guitar.

I had a martin D12E in my shopping cart but something said to me I have to give me more time with my search because I wasnt really sure about it. After many, many hours I‘ve „found“ the FG5 and damn I am so impressed. Other big companies give you sloppy china made guitars for that money. Yamaha gives you an awesome guitar - not for the price - just an awesome guitar! Sadly I habe to wait about 3 months until it’s available in my trusted shop.

I have this guitar and it is my favorite. The playability of it is amazing and the tone is fantastic. I like the wide nut width too. When I bought this guitar I compared it to a Martin d18 and I thought it was better and it was cheaper.

Andrew this is so valuable. I learned all my chords, scales, and notes,as well as the cage system years back but wasn't able to fit it all together smoothly. Now with a little work I think I can in short order. Now every thing you have taught so far is major scales and chords.Does it work the same way in minor chords and scales?

Good evening, the project is really cool. I have a question: the bottom (floor) of the pedalboard, it has a slight upward slope, is the back part a little higher compared to the front? Or is it just me? thanks.

Yoooo ….. I watched all of that for you not to play it in context with vocals..🤨 you gotta perform the song you teach or else it’s only half of a lesson. Good use of open (bar) chords though.

Sounds sweet. ...a lot like a Les Paul. Tell me, one of these has come up on Gumtree right nearby me... what would you tell me, in a nutshell? Say, a pro and a con..? (,It's a lot harder to get an idea of what you might be buying into with something like this... Nowhere to go try them out..few videos on them etc. So, any advice would be well welcome 😔🙏 , thank you.

Incredible guitars, every one of them. That's a Fenech roadster, they sound pretty warm compared to what you would hear in a Strat, super versatile. The rosewood is super heavy but the other materials are pretty light. Neck is only the wider side but super playable. Don't really have any cons

One of the best diy videos out there. My question is, what kind of internal hight did you end up with? You said the back was 110 mm. So is the final internal height on the back 110-12= 98mm? Sorry if I missed this info in the video.
