You are so right! Method three can easily get twisted but anyone who uses this method of joining non-striped binding will never do it any other way. Much easier, full-proof and likely the only method you’ll ever use! @Notches Sewing “Sewing Tricks and Tips Joining Ends of Binding”. It is shown as a single layer but if you prefer yours already folded, it’s a simple adjustment and works perfectly every time.

It's 4 in the morning and after watching your tutorial earlier, I got up around 3am and proceeded to do exactly what you demonstrated, step by step. It was as close to perfection that I have ever been able to do. I mean I might even say it is perfection. I am so thrilled! Also, your tip about keeping the backgrnd fabric to the outside was very helpful in keeping each triangle in it's proper place. Thank you again for this excellent tutorial. Back to bed I go. LOL

This tutorial at least for me is by far the best one I have seen. Right to the point and very thorough. I know these leaves are supposed to be simple to make but I struggled for two days trying to get seams to match, coming up short in places. So frustrating, I temporarily gave up multiple times. Your tip to go larger on some of the squares did the trick for me. Need that wriggle room. Thank you for a great tutorial. I have subscribed. 😊
