I have one just like that one. I let my 15 year old knife crazy grandson take it and an old Timer Bowie to a pile of brush. The old Timer failed. First a big chip out of the blade, then the blade broke in half. The Packie Bowie lasted the test with just a lose guard. No big pronlem. It cut 2" branches like nothing. I was impresed. I paid $20 for it at a rumage sale. I will give it to my grandson. I have an old Cold Steel Carbon V Coffin Handel Bowie that you can bet your life on. I also have an Al Marr Fighting knife that has ben with me since Vetnam. Its another knife you can bet your life on. It is the best.

I got it in black its a very very good knife , exceptional quality I use it almost every day for years. People think Spanish knives are bad for some reason I destroyed multiple other brand knives I dare to say this is a very good product for your money.....if you get the chance buy one ..good vid from the uk .

These elk ridge knives are kind of amazing. They sell for next to nothing and are really nicely made and razor sharp out of the box. Just know that ER has a habit of making the same model knife in different steels. This knife is also made with 3CR13 steel which is similar to 420C. Not a huge difference but most people who like knives prefer 440. Generally, when it's 440, ER stamps it on the blade. When it just says stainless steel, it's 3CR13.

I own the knive. For some reason muela has made it look cheap. Its not very well balanced. Most of the weight is in the handle. But I will say it holds a edge very well. High quality materials
