I got it in black its a very very good knife , exceptional quality I use it almost every day for years. People think Spanish knives are bad for some reason I destroyed multiple other brand knives I dare to say this is a very good product for your money.....if you get the chance buy one ..good vid from the uk .

Not sure. Don’t think it’s a date code. Could be a series letter maybe. I believe they have about 3 deffernt blade size. Good luck brother.

Can the false edge (clip or swegd, I fumble terms) be sharpened? It looks very fine already.

I have got it. I took it for hunting. When we were about to stab the pig it didn't work at all. And it's because it's not sharp the false edge. So we couldn't stab the pig. I wonder why Muela doesn't sharp both sides. It's a great knive but unfinished.
