Picked up 2 at a black Friday drop at a liquor store in mid michigan for $79 ea . Next to impossible to find here, UNTIL right after Christmas when several liquor stores had cases of them for the same price 🤔 . One of my favorites just like JD Sbbp rye 😋 Cheers 🥃💯👍

Michters barrel strength rye (i know impossible to find) then jack daniels barrel proof rye then barrell seagrass would all be above it for me

They are hit and miss IMHO. I’ve had some like are ridiculously good. Others which are meh… still… it’s a “you see it, you buy it” bottle

Brown Forman, in general, does a good job with barrel proof ryes. I submit this and Jack Daniels Single Barrel Barrel Proof Rye for your consideration. Both absolute bangers. Cheers 🥃😎

Hell yeah, I 100% agree that Little Book Path Not Taken was the best rye of the year. The KC 10 yr rye was also hella good for a $60-70 bottle. I think both were MILES above WT Triumph. Triumph was good, not great. Unfortunately it was priced like special whiskey and drank like above average whiskey.

Starting to think your palate cleanse of choice is weed.

If you come back to Dallas you really should go to River Cute Rate Liquor. Great store, had a lot of store picks last time I was there, and it’s local. Had $25 Buffalo Trace store picks and $45 Blue Note Juke Join unfiltered/uncut store picks. Even had some of the high high end stuff (GTS, Pappy, etc.)

OGD114 is 4-5 years old
