Rob making me feel sea sick at 4:27
@kbbl102.53 жыл бұрын
I love Rob so fricking much. My second favorite guitarist of all time. The word humble gets tossed around a lot, mostly at fake humble people, people who consciously try to act humble. Rob is the genuine article. He loves playing guitar more than anything in the world, and more than most people who love playing guitar. The reunion show was so good, seeing how happy he was to be back with Chuck and Fro and Eli on a stage. So talented, so passionate, so genuine, so pure and humble and fun.

Do you use any special software to interface the APCs into GrandMAonPC?
@llamamallnet7 жыл бұрын
Yes - he uses grandMA on PC but also uses his own custom scripting to map out everything onto an APC. Check him out on facebook for more info - "Luke Stratton Designs"

@llamamallnet7 жыл бұрын
We do not "work" for dopapod in that we do not travel with them and do not get paid for what we do - but we put in a lot of work for the fans and the band's benefit, which is truly the ultimate goal!

Amazing how most of the pros with big rigs like the older stuff. They can have anything they want and stay vintage. I'm the same way. Still playing a Korg 01W/FD and a Hammond XK2. The newest thing I added was a Neo Ventilator 2 Leslie simulator box. If you have a clonewheel organ, get the Vent 2.

I want to like this so bad. But it just sounds soulless in the same way that Umphree's is soulless. It's all math no heart. Boring.
@williekdenver7 жыл бұрын
why try so hard to like them? the same artists you find "boring" may evoke very different emotions in others. dopapod and umphrey's aren't for everyone! you're probably looking for something like twiddle or my morning jacket.

Jurney Metatron wow? Soulless??? This shit sounds so good to me... it's a bit soundtribe-y... in that there r def some patterns but this shit is so tight...it's party jam after party jam and the key player is all over the place... I just found these guys and I will b for sure checking them out... haha.. and I don't like umphrees at all that's why I had to comment.. because they do sound real empty and boring... so u made me think I'm def missing something... gonna try these guys more sober 2maro and see if I'm with ya!!

people just aren't used to how in-sync the Umphrey's guys are with each other that it seems soulless, when it's just as passionate but complimented with impeccable musicianship and precision.

It kind of surprises me that people still use this board. Don't get me wrong, I've gotten great mixes on that mixer, but with the X32 and other budget mixers you get so much more for close to the same amount of money. I do get it, if a band has it and they don't want to spend the money on a new board, but it is still surprising to me.
