Luke Stratton of Dopapod Explains His Rig

In celebration of the upcoming launch of the newly redesigned and improved llamamall.net, we are proud to present the third installment of our Dopapod rig rundown series.
In this video we featured Dopapod's lighting designer/FOH engineer Luke Stratton. For those that don't already know, Luke is what we call a genius. Not only is he able to run sound and lights simultaneously, but he's also able to do things with his custom-made lighting console that we have never seen before. Luke's background as a software engineer shows through in his ability to tailor his rig to each venue, all while maintaining a dependable system every step of the way. We look forward to the progression of his rig as Dopapod continues on through 2015. Enjoy!

Hi,Do you have a trackball to the grandma2 software? how is your setup? how do you set the trackball to ma, so you can control pan/tilt with it.

Do you use any special software to interface the APCs into GrandMAonPC?

We do not "work" for dopapod in that we do not travel with them and do not get paid for what we do - but we put in a lot of work for the fans and the band's benefit, which is truly the ultimate goal!

It kind of surprises me that people still use this board. Don't get me wrong, I've gotten great mixes on that mixer, but with the X32 and other budget mixers you get so much more for close to the same amount of money. I do get it, if a band has it and they don't want to spend the money on a new board, but it is still surprising to me.
