See that little cup on the spindle? It’s sharp!!! I’ve scraped the top of my hand on it countless times(it’s a speed queen very similar to this) as I pull the clothes out. Please change the design by providing a chamfered edge.

Does the dryer come with the splitter hose for the steam or do I have to buy that separately?

I have this exact unit. I use powder tide and put it in first as instructed. The detergent doesn't dissolve fully and has already ruined some of my clothes! Help

Front Load Washers are always the best for laundry 🙌. Gets clothes and other garmets cleaner than top loaders.

@SpeedQueenHome Please tell me the gallons per min (GPM) drain rate for the top load model as well as the FF7 front load model. Are they safe to use in an upper level laundry closet in a hallway area location or is their weight over the safe weight limits for upper level units?

It's nice to have both the Speed Queen Perfect Wash and Speed Queen Classic Clean to suit all buyers.

What tool should I use to remove that screw looking connecter? Will a flat head be okay or is there another tool that would be better?

Trouble shooting these is a nightmare, good luck if you ever run into any issues.

Wow, I have to call a repair tech tomorrow as my tc5 failed after just 10 months for moderate use. Smoking rubber, making insane noise during wash cycle, and now leaking on bottom. Good grief. Even if the warranty is good, i dont want to have to deal with this on a $1400 washer after less than a year. Everything is crap now, isn’t it?

Okay but how did you get the agitator out of the speed queen???

We just got this washer this last Friday. We did laundry all weekend long and lived every minute of it. If you are on the fence about buying this washer and just want good clean clothes , then you need to break down and buy this because it is worth it.

Id love a bigger version of both. And maybe having a newer version of a tc5 with the same controls as a tr7

My concern with putting dirty pet bedding in the dryer before washing is whether there is a bad odor lingering in the dryer afterward?

We have this same machine in Black and it has a good bit of sway and vibration during not only the spin cycle but also the wash cycle. The installers have checked the level of the machine, and it is just about spot on. Mine sits on tile upstairs in my house and is on a pedestal. The installer guys said the sway is due to it being top heavy on the stands and the rubber feet. From all these videos, this machine should be rock solid. My old Kenmore didn't move at all. This Speed Queen should not. I have sent message to Alliance and got an email saying I would be contacted in 3-5 days. That was two weeks ago. Nothing! Can I get expert help from Alliance?

I'm so happy to know that I meet the engineer who designs washing machines. Currently in the washing machine market there is a crisis because most digital washing machines do not wash. Once the pieces are made and you add a good detergent, but unfortunately the pieces come out with the same stains even when you have scrubbed them by hand. I just bought a Maytag washing machine, the price was approximately $1,000 in expenses with taxes and the machine is useless. does not work properly. I am looking at the option of obtaining an analogue Speed Queen which seems to me to be an almost perfect machine, although I do not like the SQ product, since I do not like that the basin for washing clothes is very small. Size 3.5 approximately. I think they should make the machines with a slightly larger washing tub and make them analogous. If a product is good and works in the market and is perfect, why do they have to change it to try to make it digital and then it doesn't fulfill the function it should fulfill? It's completely absurd and what are engineers thinking when they make these ridiculous changes? Not everything has to be digital. The analogue washing machines worked very well, what they had to do was make them more energy efficient, that's all because everything else worked perfectly and they washed very well. Let's go back to analogue washing machines with larger tubs and everything perfect.

Is that several large rust spots I see on the top rim of the Speed Queen inner tub? On what I assume is an unused machine? Makes me a bit nervous to see that, since I have a 3 week old TC5. One of the main reasons I chose it was the steel outer tub, and real stainless steel inner tub.

Speed queen is like the modern day version of Maytag in the 1980's.

You should do a sound clip of the tr7 on the default heavy duty cycle during agitation.

I have the TC5. I prefer it over other washers with fancy electronics that eventually become an expensive repair.
