I just saw some sketchbooks this size today and wasn’t sure about buying them. After seeing your precious works of art and how beautiful they were on a smaller scale, I am picking up a couple books tomorrow. Thank you for sharing and inspiring me. Love from 77 yr old MomMom Eva from USA ❤❤

Etsy needs to get rid of bundles like this. Honestly. How on earth does this have anything to do with unique hand crafted items that they market themselves for? Do they not realize how many KZbin videos are floating around saying how easy it is to “tweak” a stock photo and sell on Etsy?

@pawshire6 күн бұрын
Is it because I crook my hand? 🤔 🙃 Probably because when left handed people write from left to right, we can't see what's under our hand? It helps see what I'm doing 😂

Fantastic video! Great explanation! Can I ask what is the plant in the background? It looks like a variegated mican or a stunning colored rio. I tried zooming in but I can’t figure it out! Thanks!

Thank you ❤️ For the plant, are you talking about the purple leaves thing? If yes, it's Calathea roseopicta dottie (normally 😂)

Is the Holbein Showroom tax-free for tourists? Lovely video, by the way - thanks for sharing!
@pawshire13 күн бұрын
I am not sure if was explicitly tax free but the prices were so way lower, I did not even ask! A tube of acryla gouache was around 300¥ instead of 423¥ for example. Hope this helps!

Loved your video! I went to Pigment on my first trip to Japan about 6 months ago. Such a beautiful place! I'm not an artist, but I just had to buy something there, so I chose a small set of the metallic watercolors! Now that I'm reminded that I have it, I ought to do something with it, right!?? I loved learning about the architect who designed the store. Thank you!

I rarely visit ETSY at all these days. Their blatant support of art thieves and stolen goods are sad and upsetting. Keep fighting and staying true to your art and creative style.

There are AI image upscalers that are really really good. I had a image of an elf stolen and used on a lot of diamond painting sites. Every shop, 5 of them, also told me they got it from somewhere else.

This issue and all the blatant, relentless fake order/fake Etsy official contactss/identity theft/ bait and switch cheap 'paid order' for expensive deposit scammers - all that Etsy does little to nothing about - is my No. 1 why I stopped Etsy... No.2 is the need to master and spend a fortune on Etsy advertising to make a worthwhile level of sales.
@TatyanaValdaBelindaHillАй бұрын
It's kind that you thanked the person who alerted you... I've spent time documenting art/design pirates more than once to let the victim arist or small company know (including companies with staff, who presumably had time to at least say "thank you".) I've had my designs pirated, so it is what I hope someone would do for me... However, I don't think I ever had a simple acknowledgement for the time and care given. :/

Human art thieves can only steal artworks individually, and it is kind of labor-intensive to obtain each artwork and sell for profit. AI takes the art stealing to a whole new level. AI is pretty much grabbing as much artwork as possible, without any permission from the creators themselves, and generating art in the original artist's style, putting the original artist out of business because now the artist has to compete with a machine. Maybe it's better off for all of humanity to go back to manual labor, and those who do have skilled jobs are all engineers and computer programmers.

Etsy also allows sales of counterfeit sports cards and counterfeit sports cards slabs. It's beyond irresponsible.

I've been contemplating leaving Etsy tbh. Easier for other Etsy sellers to copy art and also easier for Temu sellers to straight up screenshot photos and use them as their own.

I stopped selling my artwork online years ago because of this and a very corrupt licensing deal. I gave up. I still find things pretty regularly and it's been over ten years.
