I love this medival fantasy setting with king Arthur and Knights and stuff. Pls dont add futuristic things like Steampunk it would crash the Gamestyle and become more like modern Magic than

I totally agree. It was love at the first sight. I randomly was looking for a upcoming tcg on Kickstarter, idea coms totally out of no where ive never did this before. I saw sorcery and i was like, ok take my Money but i was 2 days to late for the Kickstarter Campagne :(the Art and the product design is amazing

If they meant for Arthurian Legends to be limited focused/friendly, they failed miserably. The threshold requirements for the knights and royalty make them really hard to play in limited, some near impossible. Cracking boxes and the last of EV is atrocious. After realizing that most of the knights are more like Elite rarity level, you only pull 4-5 true Unique cards. For a $130 MSRP, that is really really bad unless you’re lucky enough to pull a Unique foil. This set has some large problems.

About the play space you forgot the most important part; Good chairs! You will be sitting in them for 4-10 hours.

One set a year and a mini set a year would be the perfect balance. It allows for collectibility without killing your bank.

So weird, I started MTG in the back of a video store. We had a friend that owned one and we gathered there to play.

It’s nice listening to like-minded people. Great to hear all about Sorcery from other people that love the game as much as I do!

I can image he loves the game, he single handedly ate most of all the beta boxes of the world and everyone is forced to buy them from him.

I think an elemental deck with all the knights and three of each exceptional knight would be great. With weapons and such. Not having to worry much about threshold would be awesome.

Agree it would be fun and helpful if EC would fill us in on more info about how the cards are created, how they figure out what fits where, etc., etc. Deep stuff about how the game was and is being created. Not the art necessarily, but the nuts and bolts of how cards work and work together or oppose each other's effects.

I thought allot before commenting and I love the positive vibes you guys have so I want to keep my comments super constructive on your channel. I would love to see more paper matches, real play people playing cards with commentary. Not to always compare to MTG… but Im primarily an old school player and those sets have been done for 25 years and there is new content weekly with probably 3 or 4 solid content creators pumping out solid content. That meta has been “dead” for a long time and only ever had 5 sets… I know it’s an asymmetrical comparison and I also know that everyone can also criticize the choice to turn left after the choice to turn right was chosen. The set release schedule is something that may need considering… but these sets take a long time to plan and release and is more like steering a large ship for a company this size and we can’t be overly critical of everything. I would rather they were more responses in real time to in game adjustments to correct the meta. I wish they would focus on brining some of the older avatars up to snuff with the new avatars because they are now supercharging some of the new ones… like… they should consider the idea of making spark and flame a passive ability and pathfinder have a starting hand…. Something to bring EVERYTHING up to a standard that can compete so everyone isn’t just playing with 3 avatars all the time… Avatars are not like the other cards… they are asymmetric yea but they need to consider the balance in the meta… if everyone is playing the same thing… it’s a problem and we shouldn’t be waiting a year and I don’t like seeing the same thing over and over. Enough avatars have been printed…. Good ones too. Quit making them obsolete… fix them or make them level if you are going to update some of the concepts of the game as you go… like the card counts and the rarities… that effects thing and makes some decks faster than they were meant to be… so now you need to help those other avatars to fix them, giving the same passive abilities/traits or some automatic benefit that they chose to give everything else…. A balanced meta would help allot

Thank you for the great video. My playgroup and I do not consider actual time as a lull time... It is a great time to test as much avatar and strategy as possible. Even though it feels like archimago / ring morrigan seems like top meta, there is not enough tournament and match being played to prove that. We think so errata might change how ring of morrigan works, but in the mean time, even those 2 are manageable and fun to play with and against. Until next set, have a good day

From a store owner starting up in 2024 I am relieved of how Sorcery been handling Arthurian Legends and also managed get the Summer beta to build up a card stock for players. Also the support from channels like yours been amazing. Cover all releases that was in Pokemon, Magic etc in 2024 impossible mission but it was a great year with Spiel. Go on with your great work and enjoy this content on a Satuday with cleaning house and family at the cinemas All the best from me in Finland. ❤😊

I mean wouldn't have a lull with 2 sets a year and you can make videos about chess for an eternity doesn't make it interesting. A card game survives if it has a healthy meta and competitive scene in addition to a casual scene and people are going to quickly burn out on a game's competitive scene if the meta is burned through and it takes another 10 months to get something new. people will argue oh sorceries meta hasn't been solved but the reality is the avatar choice is pretty well sorted and the only reason every meta option isn't figured out is because the population is small i know alot of people who got turned off from the game due to small product count if someone is a fan of a specific archetype it will literally be years of hope waiting for their thing to show up in the game like say a player that loves insects and they want an insect deck it could be literally years before they see any interesting new cards for their favorite deck etc.

One legendary card missing from the shout outs has got to be lady of the lake. Shes a 3 drop that gets you back your ring or your Morgana Le Fey. She can also recur grand master wizard as well. Basically think of some of the most powerul relics in the game or some of the most powerful genesis abilties attached to mortals and she is basically a 3 cast recursion of that if its in your grave yard

I think it was a bad decision to land lock promos or place them in the hands of individuals and companies that decide who gets the promo and who don't. If you live in Europe like me you missed out on almost al of them and have to pay several hundreds of dollars for 1.

I got the Alpha Holo Champion card! Love that one so much! I think it was around 100 Picked up the Headless Hunt for dirt cheap. Maybe like 8 ish. Also, Amazon Warriors and the Witch still sealed in their cases.

Great video again! AL is really a great set, but really a pitty that besides the Knights etc., beautiful cards like Camelot don't see much play. They are a bit underpowered for now at least.

Mesmerism is a backbreaking card for Blue. Strongest card in the color? Probably. I've been playing a Sir/Knight themed deck with King Arthur at local tournaments with Elementalist as my Avatar and it has done pretty well. Some of those knights are tough to deal with.

Overall I'm happy with the set as a product. I am not happy with the way it was packaged and sold. From a design perspective, most of the cards were good. The Ring has clearly been shown to be a design mistake, and I am interested in how players will adjust to it, or if EC will walk back their "no bans, fix via design" philosophy.

Arthurian Legends is a fun set! It prompted me to learn more about both the legends/lore, and the real-life historical figures & locations - Boudica in particular.

You folks deserve more views, and much more credit for what you are doing for the game and community
