There’s several hizzards in the way. The blamfs rub against the chumbles. And the ploobis and grumbo are shaved away. That leaves you with a regular old plumbus.

You are exactly right. I am back into espresso after a few years away and my whole kit is not worth a quarter of this grinder. It's like paying 12 grand for interconnects in audio..which is a thing. Not saying this grinder is not great but 10 times as great as mine? Not even close. These days its about the kit with the coffee coming second.

It's VERY great tech for the coffee grinding world. This is setting a very high standard. Excellent very high quality parts and tooling. Very low tolerances for error. I would suspect this grinder to last a few lifetimes under proper care.

I don't believe so, I just ordered a E37S ,I had been using Lavassa Expresso Ground in s moka pot for 15 years, I bought kona coast, Mountain Thunder Vienna roast, So good, And Aeropress, much better, A kinu 47 classic and kona coast beans, better still, I want more control on my grind, Italy deseves my dollars, and I only have ONE coffee a day, it must be grand !

@@popovic5463 But there are also single dose grinders around half the price with the same features (very low retention, and variable RPM). Off the top of my head, Weber EG1 and Levercraft Ultra. It really depends on what you're looking for in a grinder though. There are some very interesting grinders like Versalab M3 out there too, with quirky burrs.
