Noooo! Greatest Hits are not proper albums, not original releases! The list needs two more legitimate entries! Magical Mystery Tour beats out Peppers, IMHO. Sorry about your dad, though. Obviously.

It took me a while to realise that your way of scoring or rating things is totally bonkers, but I think it is great. I am in Oz and definitely laughing at you.

You add sugar to the bread dough to feed the yeast to make a lighter fluffier loaf, if you add more than the yeast will consume prior to cooking you will get sweet bread.

Hate to rain on your parade but 20 days holiday is more standard. 25 is generous and not uncommon, 28 is unusual. You hit lucky there, no wonder you don’t want to go back to Canada - 10 days is inhumane. X

George (Jorge) Santayana wrote: England is the paradise of individuality, eccentricity, heresy, anomalies, hobbies, and humors. Never since the heroic days of Greece has the world had such a sweet, just, boyish master.

I live Manchester and the Tea thing for everyone is not a thing that defies you as British because life styles, attitudes, English dialect & upbringing varies dramatically from city’s & Towns

Many of these are because we Brits have been brought up to be polite, as it costs us nothing and causes just about everyone else to underestimate us.

Thanking the bus driver is one of the most genuine and beautiful things of the UK. Especially when routinely done in a huge city like London (I can’t imagine NY or any other big metropolis doing this). My German fiancé was very surprised when he saw me doing this when we visited London last year and he immediately adopted it!! 😊

I've never considered Cadbury chocolate to be a premium chocolate. Here in New Zealand its the cheap option. We have Whittakers milk chocolate which is much nicer. It uses higher quality ingredients so you do pay a bit more.

Sometimes we have people with drums at games in the mls but it really depends on what game you go to and what teams are playing but going to a baseball or American football game in city’s like Philly for example the atmosphere is crazy

To your question, it’s a bit of both. There are chants that were made up ages ago and the rhythm acts as a template for new things to be made up on the spot. Sometimes supporters use a famous song like ‘I just can’t get enough’ change the lyrics to fit what they want and chant it. All are made by the fans though. Whatever sticks will be continued by the rest of the supporters. Some chants will go back as old as the club, which in most cases is over a hundred years.

American "chocolate" can't even be sold as chocolate in Canada. It has to be a "Candy" product. After you have tried Swiss or Belgian chocolate from a real chocolatier you are spoilt permanently. I remember as a kid getting miniatures of the Hershey bars at Halloween and no one would eat them.

It doesn't happen here in Spain. I guess drinking lots of alcohol non-mediterranean style has something to do with how thay're so funny with these chants in the UK.

There can be a bit of chanting at international cricket. One I remember was an England match at Old Trafford (Manchester ) the stand suddenly erupted with "Tracy Barlow is a dog". Turns out a bloke taking his seat was an actor from Coronation Street, and his character was having an affair with the character Tracy Barlow." I was baffled (I don't watch Corrie)

Actually the UK has lots of strange roundabouts that work. Oxfordshire seems to love doughnut ones where the main road goes straight on through the middle and out the far side under traffic light control. Both the M40 High Wycombe and the M4 Reading roundabouts have something similar and equally scary.

Just think of the Magic Roundabout like an epicyclic gear. One ordinary roundabout round the outside, five smaller ones roughly evenly spaced meshing with it and an inner counter-rotating roundabout again meshing with the 5. Simples 😁
