So just to confirm, this collection will play on any 4k UHD player, right? I thought with 4k UHD discs, the regions did not matter??

Definitely running into space issues. All my available shelves are already filled so what I have now are unsightly stacks cropping up on any available surface in the house and it looks horrible. ☹ So, anyway, in my apparent obsession in making MORE stacks, my half way haul included Buried Alive, The Caller, The Flesh Trilogy, Sweet Sugar slip, Sweet Sugar T-shirt, so I got the comic book too, The Ghastly One book (about Andy Milligan) and also The Black Room and Culture Shock's The Flesh Merchant, which is the only one so far I've watched and what a waste of 💲

Been a fan of Jennilee Harrison since her Three's Company days. She wasn't in too many movies after that (Tank with James Garner is one) so that Curse III jumped out at me. I'll have to seek it out. Maybe Ham Books has another one. The From Dusk cover art is quite nice. Gumby likes to fall down. you should've done a zoolander, turtles and gumby unboxing.

Yes, that Gumby Movie thing is stupid cheap. It’s worth it for the packaging. But to me, that’s not the real Gumby. The best Gumby was from the 50s and (to a lesser extent) the 60s. Those collections are out there and are really cheap also.

Best Buy lost me as a customer. I always went to Best Buy to buy now I don’t have any reason to shop at Best Buy . I am sure in a few years from now Best Buy will have dvds again .

Wow. I have yet to see popcorn buckets this epic at any cinemas I frequent. This bucket easily beats the impractical one for Dune. So weird to see new Ghostbusters and Dune movies like forty years after the first ones. I haven't seen either of the new ones. I totally love Cutting Class. I have the VS edition and didn't realize there was a new MVD one. Awesome casing for the Footloose steelbook. I was like 14 when then movie came out and I totally had a Walkman with the cassette tape for Footloose at the time. I liked the music more than the film at the time. Frenzy is one of my personal fave Hitchcock flicks and not discussed as much. It's got some gialli flavor and it way sleazier than expected. I have an old blu of Cutthroat Island and still haven't watched that movie either. I will have to look into that V/H/S triple feature. I like those flicks quite a bit, but only own the first one. Haha. I love the snap cases too! I own all the ones you show, except Murder by Numbers which I traded off. Red Rock West packaging looks amazing. I am not sure I have watched unboxings of that, but I love the movie. Waxworks records are always so cool but I can't start a vinyl collection. LOL. I am thinking of getting into soundtrack CD collecting eventually, but sticking with blus and DVD for now. LOL.

Yea there really isn’t a reason to keep dvds if you have upgraded it unless it’s your fave movie maybe or it’s really rare or there are special features on the dvd not on the blu ray if you care about that stuff

Trucked out to Wal Mart to see what they had. The only steels that interested me that they had were shivers and creature black lagoon. So then I went on their web site and they had a s....load more not found in stores. I almost sprung for The Lair of the White Worm. I'm just surprised to see they had that.

Yeah, I was surprised how much they had on their website, even stuff from third-party sellers. Lair of the White Worm and The Gate are pretty nice looking steelbooks. I already have the slip versions but might pick up the Gate, love that movie.

I refuse to pay so much for it. The UK version is much cheaper, but I don't think it's numbered. And now they are re-releasing them on steelbook! I can't start re-buying them all, but maybe I'll get Unholy if they re-release it. The Gate looks good on steelbook too.

Dude you didn't get 4K don't lie. Those say and are Blu-ray. You bought the wrong shit or bought the right ones and don't have 4K but judging from your collection it's bluray

Nope, it's 4K. The case does say Blu-ray, which is weird (maybe a UK thing), but the disc clearly says Ultra HD.

I kept the old DVD version of Conan as well - many happy memories of that DVD set. Also, I show my wife 10 minutes of the DVD and follow it up with 10 minutes of the 4K every time she asks why I gotta spend money on a 4K lol!

I preordered the Conan set from Amazon in December. It was also supposed to arrive February 20. It never came 😢 and it was lost in shipping. so they had to refund me. Also I thought about getting the She Ra set. That was a really good deal!

Awesome review.Just ordered the Pinhead version.Saw Hellraiser,Hellraiser 2 Hellbound,Hellraiser 3 Hell on Earth,and Hellraiser 4 Bloodline in the movie theaters on opening day from 18 to 27.Collected the soundtracks,comic books,Titan book on the characters of Hellraiser and got a personaly signed copy of Doug Bradleys book.The direct to video sequels i avoided.Only the reboot from 2 years ago with Jamie Clayton as the hell priest i have seen.

Yea, I'm an idiot....OR MAYBE you didn't see that the packaging clearly had an HDR 4K Blu-ray sticker AND that it says 4K in the description on the back. Sometimes, lables put the movies in the wrong cases, like how Training Day 4K was in a blue case. But then again, I guess its just easier to call people names.

It's likely a factory error, or Arrow was being lazy since it's the cheaper box set. Regardless, the packaging clearly states HDR 4K as well as the discs.

Thats really strange that it says that the films are in Dolby Vision when they weren't graded in Dolby Vision and certainly weren't released with Dolby Vision on the Limited Edition boxset. Are they actually in Dolby Vision or is that a mistake on the packaging?

@@AdventuresintheNerdCave okay, it’s not because it’s rare or anything, but the Rob Zombies Halloween double feature you have are the theatrical cuts of the films(they’re very different than the unrated cuts, different scenes, ending, tone of the films). Until that double feature came out we never had the theatrical cuts on disc (people who saw it in theatres have been asking for the original cuts for years). theatrical cuts are still not available in any US release (the double feature actually a Canadian release). it’s always only the unrated cuts. If you get rid of it you’ll be getting rid of a different film than the unrated cuts imo, definitely worth keeping if you’re a Halloween fan.

@AdventuresintheNerdCave I totally get it. I have been a collector since 1999 myself. I have discovered that I have had to upgrade to Blu-ray and 4K since I keep finding ones that aren't playable anymore. Multiple times, I have discovered that I own several copies of the same films. I recently picked up a collection of Beavis and Butthead episodes, which came with the movie that I already own. It's something I'm constantly keeping an eye on now when adding to the collection. I have found that some older films don't transfer as well to 4K as Blu-ray, so I look to find out what it's like before making a new purchase.
