She looks a little bit rough. Okay I'm being a little sarcastic but I've always thought that the cab I had was a 71. It's red and white it looks like this one and it may be a 67. I don't recall the door handles on it. But I don't think it's quite that old because it had a 302 in it. Matter of fact I still got the 302 less the Crank. DeKalb is so Rusty down low but up high I think even the dash pad is good. It's red. I forget where you're located at but if you're driving by I'd make you a sweet deal on it. I've got no need for it. By the way it's been off the road since about 1975 or so. I've got three generations of collection. Any case what few parts are there are going to be Christine to some extent because the truck was not that old when it was taken off the road. You're just rusty rusty rusty. I believe it was cut up made into a pickup bed trailer but I don't know I wasn't there. I know the engines out in the hood is setting over the engine and the engine is sitting on a couple of tires. Any case good luck on this truck
@LostandFoundClassics10 сағат бұрын
The easiest way to tell is the radio. The 1967 was a one year only dash and cab. The radio cut out is larger than 68-72. Additionally, there are no door lock rod pulls on the 1967 doors. So, when you open the door, you don't see a door lock pull on top. In 68-72 Ford was forced for safety reasons to add the internal door lock pull in case of an accident.
@CAROLDDISCOVER-19833 сағат бұрын
@LostandFoundClassics I'm almost certain that it has the door lock pull knobs on top of the door at the base of the window. I had a video of it in my other device but it was lost so far. Retrieved the information off of it. Next time I get out to the farm I'll take a video of it and put it on my channel. I literally do not want much of anything for it. I talked to Dad when I was 16 or so and to giving the crank out of the 302 to a friend of mine. I don't know how well it ran but it was running engine when we did that. And I'm pretty sure he gave us the old crank and it was turnable probably. That friend's dad with hard-working Union man and got screwed over when he got hurt at work. I think he was okay with this. It's a red and white cab it looks just like yours except for has horse painting or decals on each door. Like I said it's been sitting there since I'm guessing 1975. Pickup trailer what is the fate of the rest of the truck. I don't think transmissions their. Anyway I like how you go out and get these things. If I don't see a use for it in my present inventory get rid of it.

Have never been able to figure out why it is so important for some to hide VIN #’s or license plate #’s .
@LostandFoundClassics23 күн бұрын
Thanks for the comment @grandpar468 Here's why: With today's technology you can use an old license plate to look up addresses for only a few dollars. Then you know were the cars are and go buy them or bug the owner. Additionally, if you have a clear picture of the VIN on the car, there are classic car title companies that will allow you to order a title for as little as $300. Then you have a title and can fight for the car. Once more, if you have the VIN or the plate, you can search records for the last owner and potentially find out where the cars are located. Covering the Plates and VINs keep the cars safe from people who would otherwise try to go buy them out from under me and or bug the owner who doesn't want his location known. I learned this lesson the hard way with another car I posted on this channel. Someone took the plate, looked up the cars location, and bought it out from under me. Out of respect for the owner and for the sake of all of my own hard work locating these cars, the VIN and Plates are covered to keep the vultures away. Thanks

@LostandFoundClassics24 күн бұрын
@kitkrienke9520 While I appreciate your feedback, especially if I was incorrect, you are actually not correct on this one. This car is a 1979 Trans Am. The Honeycomb wheels were offered in 1971-76 Only. The 1977 -1981 Trans Am was offered with the "Snowflake" Wheel. Since this car is a 1979, it has those rather than the Honeycombs. My age doesn't effect the options available in the 70s. Special Note: Usually I would never spray paint a vehicle. But I honestly don't care about this truck at all and have no future plans to ever paint it properly. It is a truck that will be beat to death with no concern for the exterior. NEVER spray paint your vehicle if you ever intend to properly paint it with automotive paint. You will then need to strip the vehicle first if you do. Additionally, never paint over spray paint with catalyzed paint. I honestly don't like the Turbo Can trend. But for folks who can't afford to paint their vehicles, its a cheap way to paint that blends the lines a lot better than a regular can. I hope you had fun watching.
