My gosh, even in 1977, Laura seemed rather like an adult. She was incredibly poised and precocious.

Oh my goodness, Leslie looked so beautiful with that hair! She was in an episode of Twilight Zone in her teens, I believe (she looked like a teen, anyway) but it's even stranger seeing her in this specific stage of life (mid or late 30's). She's such a beautiful woman.

Even this far back, Luke tries to stay away from Laura. He just can't do it. His desire to be with her is too much and he gives in. My daughter laughs every time she hears him say "Laura, I'm going to stay out of your life". She says " He has no intention of staying away from her." She is absolutely right. LnL Forever ♥️

I have never seen LnL this far back. This really helps fill in the later story. I feel people think LnL had a few scenes together then he raped her. I myself wasnt aware how complex their relationship was. I have always been smitten with Luke, however his obsession with her is disturbing. At this point he was still supposed to be killed off. I see why they kept him on. LnL have crazy chemistry, even this far back. Thanks for fueling my addiction to this storyline. Im on my second re-watch of early LnL.
