@aliciaslocum1061 hi, I'm sorry it wasn't long enough. What type of yarn are you using? Sometimes even the same size yarn can be different between brands. You can always add one or two more rows before starting to decrease as well to lengthen it. I hope this helps!

Sorry to keep bugging you, I just realized the reason mine was so much bigger is because I was using the J hook as it says on the yarn label instead of the 5mm one you are using. I’ll start again but I have a 5.5mm only, could you please tell me how much your finished strip measures on the tail side and the width measure too so I can adjust accordingly for my hook size? Thanks!

@laura3071934 you're not a bother! I'm not sure about the measurements before it's finished because I don't have that part made right now. But you can really use any size hook! I actually used a 5.5mm today when I gave you the 5" measurement. It's just slightly bigger than using a 5mm hook. I've also had people ask for an extra large one, so then I use somewhere between a 6 or 7mm, so it's really up to you with hook size 🥰

Hi, I’m making it with the same yarn and hook you are using, I’m at row 15 and mine looks like it’s going to be a huge scrubby. Could you please tell me what’s the diameter of the finished scrubby?

@laura3071934 Hi! I actually just finished one today. It's about 5" across. It's hard to tell when you're making the rows though, because they look super long, but once you sew everything together, it's much smaller

@@creationsmisfitHey, so I decided to keep going and it’s still rather floppy, but will be fine with stuffing! To anyone that does have this problem: just keep trying! I messed up my stitches and never fixed them, got floppy yarn results and I’m now at round 14!! Very happy so far
