How to crochet the Puff Stitch

My problem with making the puff stitch is that they look slanted in a certain direction once I have the final product, unless maybe I am looking too much into it and they are supposed to look like that? Any tips?

@@hannahrose3493 hmmm...I'm not sure. That just may be the look. Otherwise, be sure you're going into that very first stitch and not starting over to the left one stitch.
