I couldn't get mine to flash but then noticed I had the 2432S022 instead of the 2432S028R. Got a new one and it worked.

Apologies, I am not familiar with the IP 5000 rating, unless you are referring to the Polycom Soundstation IP 5000 Full Duplex Conference Phone, to which I would say no, this is the Lilygo TDeck, not the Polycom Conference Phone.

Yeah, that too! When the attack happens I try to reconnect to my phone and it is a struggle. It is almost like there is a second device I am connecting to. It takes sometimes 3 attempts. When the attack is not happening it connects immediately. But after hearing ecstatic reconnecting it’s always difficult. Sometimes I play the song and the headphones say connected but it plays on the phone speaker. I check to make sure all my phone options are set to play on headphones and they are but it plays the speakers on the phone. After two attempts at turn on or off then it connects. Again, it only happens after being hacked. It’s not always.

Man! That happens all the time to my Bose wireless headphones along with ecstatic. I know it is a hack because it doesn’t happen always. Only at specific times of the day or night. It is not random. It is calculated enough that I know when it is happening.

Was following along - when it came time to use the web flasher I received "Error: navigator.serial is undefined". After reading the requirements 2. Chrome browser, then using Chrome, problem solved. Just in case someone else has the same problem. Great video tutorial.

Can you share the name of the other meshtastic device that you have in this video? The smaller one, the non t-deck one. Also, what firmware was on your t deck before you flashed it with meshtastic? Mine came with meshtastic already on it but I’ve noticed there are no other features other than the gps screen and the messaging screen….

I was about to make the same comment. The only reason the wires didn't melt here is that this battery had an internal short-circuit protection board. Not all batteries do. So it's good to get into the habit of cutting the wires individually or someday you will regret it. Source: I've personally melted wires this way. It was an exciting and memorable moment.

Got one of your assembled CYD projects. Great job. I made a slight tweak to make the dev board reset and boot buttons accessible. The extra gift of a Cap'n Crunch 2600 whistle was unexpected but greatly appreciated. I instantly recognized the reference (if you know - you know. If not, look up John Draper).

The ESP module on CYD is ESP-WROOM-32. i have ESP-WROOM-32U module, it has external antenna port. Can i remove module from CYD and solder my module?

Excellent tutorial. Much better than most videos I have watched which confused the life out of me. Just a suggestion try and get the screen recordings a bit clearer, they seem a bit blurred. However, your video was really easy to follow and to the point. Took not even half an hour to set everything up. The only thing that took a bit of time was converting the games to iso files. Thank you so much for all your videos, I have watched a few others as well. 🤗 Keep up the great work!
