Unlock the Song of Nature gift bag, collect buckets (not the fishy ones!) and farm Druidane or most other herbs (not all fungi or blood roses) for an infinite source of money only limited by traders' gold and gear you can buy and your willingness to grind it out. I tend to carry about 100,000 gold everywhere (no weight penalty) as loose change. Ruins the game but I have the best equipment and every skillbook that more than make up for the dull bits.

The Amulet from Mordus is also pretty cool, he pockets it from you while turning in the quest. You can just drop a smoke bomb, bless it and then pocket it back, EASY.

doesnt seem to work anymore? when i shut steam while BG3 is running, it pops up with (waiting for BG3 to Shut Down) and then closes down Steam, so i cant then keep the copy up while i start up another BG3 to tab into and re-create?

I actually JUST did this method yesterday to prep an evil run for when patch 7 releases. It still works fine. Don't shut steam while the game is running, exit steam beforehand and launch bg3 through steamapps

I just lost twice to that azzhole, ruining my evening. For some reason the second, more strategic try went even worse than the blind one when I almost ended him with passive Shadowheart dmg (playing on custom mode with enhanced bosses and tactician difficulty). That robot at the forge was a joke compared to this fight. Soooo.... I'm building a barrel castle around him tommorow ❤

How about starting the fight after you come out of astral realm ? Does it change anything ? You are saying its easy. But before that you said your entire party is 100% made for honor mode. Normal player just plays the game and dont focus on that.

It is ridiculous that you have to do this to make 4 custom characters when it was a normal thing to be able to fully customize hirelings in Divinity Original Sin 2. It seems like Larian cut a lot of corners in this.

You can still use hirelings in here if you want. But to START the game with 4 characters, a similar method was also needed in DOS2, which is how this method was found. Of course, you can also just have 3 friends with the game lend you 5 minutes.

Nope. Only change is when you would normally get the sword from Voss later, you don't get anything since you already have it.

Never understood the "summoners get weaker and drop off in act 2" a necrofire incarnate (i mean necrofire infusion and all level available infusionsand supercharge) consistently 1 shots any enemies close enough for epidemic of fire to jump. And i mean 1 shot. at 15+ summoning and level 14 it's already over 2k magic damage. With 25+ summoning at level 20 you hit over 3k with a regular fire ball. Summoning is in no way weak late. I think it's a combination of - people didn't know how to make source infusion books, so assumed summoning is weak when you get to source spells in act 2, thus the next people never even try it, they just parrot the old opinion.

It's not that summoners are weak, it's that almost everything else is stronger. If you had the same points in pyro as you do in summoning and used epidemic of fire, you will deal significantly more damage than the incarnate since its intelligence modifier doesn't scale up like a character's does. And you have the benefit of things like elemental affinity and more ways to gain AP mid fight through adrenaline or executioner. You can absolutely win with a summoner. Hell, you can win with 4 summoners. But you are going to win easier with pretty much anything else that is built right. Granted, it's hard to mess up a summoner build since it's pretty much just pump one stat and go.

I know I’m late but farming is the easiest way but it can be slightly tedious. Just save all the buckets you find, whatever your most expensive herb is combine with the pots and than keep repeating and sell the herbs. I’ve got 60 pots laid right at the entrance and I get like 3,500$ per 10 herbs. Edit:also to take full advantage of this you need to start collecting pots in act 1/prologue.

i once fought the doctor on a modded playthrough and i had weakend him so the battle really wasnt really hard but for some reason i still dont get he just randomly died at the beginning of his turn. he had a ton of health left and just randomly fell dead

you can just teleport arhu up to where lohse was and the enemies will just completely ignore him and you can go crazy

makes the fight/keeping him alive much easier. Also they NEVER directly attack him. As you said yourself, he is not part of the combat so if he gets hurt/killed it's because he was caught in the crossfire so moving him out of the way is really good.

spammed fire spells on the big guy and pelted him with charm bombs and arrows after his magic armor's broken. he cleaned the rest of the minions while the burn damage cuts him down to size

First run I did this I used the runepowder barrel, 2nd run I just did a few minutes ago I beat the snot out of him with karlach and my PC, just pure barb * monk, and blasted him a few times with 2/2/2 fighter/warlock/sorcerer wyll

also you dont need talk to gerath.. you can go into sneak mode and still dig up without him noticing. you can also a ring wich gives thievery but i cant remember wher it is. you can do the ritual on the maisters house and steal with thievery 8 or so from your god. you can steal the same weapon you have yourself. it will duplicate the weapon. the one you want .. equipt it before. i took 25 % krit or was it 20% krit.. cant remember.. you could also the thievery dagger so you have 2 daggers..

Thanks for this, worked like a charm. Just sent in a hireling and upcast invis so the bear and hireling were invis. Grabbed it, move it in the inventory, let them kill him, dismissed the bear, and had Withers bring him back. Then went back with my real party and dunked on them.

When I recruit other companions like Shadowheart or Laezel, other companions that I created are going forever :(. They are not staying in the camp.

There is a wardrobe/closet at camp with them in it since the game has no tent spot for them

@@Pyromus33 Thank you for answering quickly. I looked it up some information and yes I saw the wardrobe. Although, I disbanded my companion and recruited Shadowheart, then I looked in the wardrobe but there was nothing there. I restarted the game and companion was there.

Looks like they started at level 13 and hit 14 during the fight. I'd suggest getting to at least 12 if you're trying on tactician or higher, which you can do with a lot of exploration avoiding combat.

I know i am very late to the party, but Louar’s Hamemrs is a scaling weapon, if you were to finish the quest early, by level 11 it would be level 11. However if you keep the quest open and wait until level 16, or just before you go to the namless isle, you could have a way more powerful weapon for act 3

If you teleport Gwydian far enough away the blobs will not spawn as they only spawn when he uses a source spell. That way it's easy to just rinse the magisters and move on. (unless you're min-maxing xp ofc)

My Problem is that my PC cant Open 4 instances at once. My max is 3. When I try to Open a fourth, that instance closes down. CPU goes Up to 100%

Yeah, it's definitely intense on the CPU. The load from character creation is the biggest slowdown, if you do it one at a time after the main account is on the ship, it might work better. Might.
