When I got married in 2015 I asked the Organist if he could learn this. He did and played this beautifully on a stunning pipe organ at the stunning Govan Old Parish Church in Glasgow, my home city. The title Glasgow Love Theme and the beautiful song being perfect for our Glasgow Wedding.

This song hits hard for anyone who has ever felt the urge to escape introspection and seek comfort in the outside world.

Me: Oh, this looks just like Moscow City. Amazing how business districts around the world all look the same. Also me, 2 minutes ago: Wait... That classic bottle of cheap vodka. A Zhiguli with Russian plates. And those all-too-familiar red-and-white-striped smokestacks. Plus those slightly depressing brick buildings... Moscow? Like, for real? But seriously, watching this in 2024 feels surreal. It’s like a glimpse into a parallel universe where my country is still a part of the global cultural space.

Apologies for the sentimentality (and the cheap mysticism), but sometimes (like at this moment), Brett Anderson’s voice feels like an echo of something like an immortal, united soul of the planet-a timeless essence through which all souls, both living and dead, can speak. [But don’t worry, I won’t write this anywhere else-I wouldn't want to put the spirit board industry out of business.]

Not to take away from the film tracks from of Craig Armstrong, but if anyone is interested in this voice, listen to The Cocteau Twins, for which she sang for during their remarkable career of dream-like music a angelic soprano-based voice.

Sentimental music with a lot of feeling death is coming and it's time to run to find his mother .he will come at time ? He see her and run faster than faster to reach her to save her from timing death .the pain reach my heart when he arrives too late and she dies in his arms . It hurts me deeply in my heart he can't save his own mother .
