The only thing that truly makes us someone is that we're loved by the creator of the universe. Everything else that we try, to give us a sense of value, is a lie. A deception. Mary, Jesus loves you, and at great cost to Himself. His desire is for you. The all powerful all knowing, all loving God of Heaven and earth, longs to be with you. May the cross of Jesus Christ and the love that is yours, in Him, sink deep down that you might know Him. And know you are His. And know the reality of His love. And all this as you read the Bible and pray to Him and praise His name.

could you try making this song without a drum beat? Your voices so lovely yet this hymn is too important to place in the casual drum beat style... really love your music and appreciate your heart in it. God bless you both. Love in Christ Jesus. Rebecca

Hi, we may give it a go in the not too distant future. There's some of these first Hymns we recorded that I'd like to have another go at. And were I to do it again I wouldn't have any drums in it. No promises but if the Lord is will's and we can carve out the time, it's one I'd love to do.

Thank you for sharing this song. Your rendition is absolutely beautiful to behold! I just found out about this channel from watching a more recent video you'd made (your rendition of "And Can It Be"). As I'm also trying to learn more hymns spread throughout history, I've decided to start listening through your whole channel starting from the oldest upload. And what a blessing I've stumbled into! As a Lutheran, it brings me great joy to listen to one of Martin Luther's works; therefore enriching my life of faith in Christ through this music. May God richly bless you, brother; for He has blessed me through you and your service. Much love from Indonesia 😊

Psalm 84:1-12 KJV How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts! [2] My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God . [3] Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God. [4] Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah. [5] Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them . [6] Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools. [7] They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God. [8] O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah. [9] Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed. [10] For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. [11] For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. [12] O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

I love this hymn! It's so cheerful and a great attitude adjuster. You both did a lovely job! Fanny Crosby has a fantastic story how she followed the Lord and became a prolific lyricist. She never let her blindness keep her from serving God! Much love to you both and blessings from sunny California! 💕☀️💕

Yeah her story is incredible. We recently went through a short biography of hers with our kids. There's a great quote from it where she says "If I had a choice, I would still choose to remain blind…for when I die, the first face I will ever see will be the face of my blessed Saviour."

When you're bowed down under the weight of your sin, and the enemy comes along with his dossier of all the wrong things you've done, preach this hymn and Roman's 8:1-4 to your heart and believe it! This is also the first Hymn on this channel where we have had help with a collaborator. We're very happy to have partnered with Mary OZ, an artists based in the Philippines, on this song and wanted to point you to her KZbin Channel. She has a growing library of contemporary Christian songs, that point to Christ so please find her on KZbin via this link - www.youtube.com/@MaryOzMusic
