Cue me wearing hand decorated plimsolls through my entire teenage years, thanks Tony! (I later went a lot more hippy, and drew directly onto my feet for a short while, but lets not dwell on that 🤣) Thanks so much for the upload, wonderful memories :)

Tony Hart makes a picture with the accompaniment of the music from the euthanasia death scene, used in Soylent Green.

Imagine being these 2 girls years later working with a legend that is Tony Hart. Such a brilliant program and artist. He didnt just do art from his day he did art for young people. He spoke to people and kids through his art, like i said....legend ❤

These hit so differently as an adult. Easy to take for granted on the TV when I was a kid, but I'm positively spellbound as an adult.

I hated Heartbeat. Tony Hart just didn’t need a presenting team to carry an art programme, and Take Hart was much, much more entertaining. No doubt some BBC twit decided it would be a good idea to create something new and exciting with much less Tony Hart. Terrible decision. BBC is full of such twits and, of course, there’s always some other reason why the public stop watching their programmes. Never the BBC twits.

I don't know the track but it could be this guy, who composed the gallery theme. The piece at 2:00 sounds similar in style to the pieces on his two "Serendipity" collections kzbin.info/door/zy4KmOArAynSsrSbNACWdgplaylists
