Thank you for sharing your knowledge clearly and effectively. How can I bring AutoCAD file to Revit for checking Pipe disconnection and Clash detection. The Plumbing drawing is provided in AutoCAD with G+12. I am trying. But, It could not be linked. Do you have any solution?

Do you mean the background model? You'll have to model that in yourself. Check out my video on Zurn fixtures to get an example project at my website

May I add that I’m using revit 2023 and I only can use the “Slope Editor” which only shows “Slope Value” with the “Finish” chexkmark.

A significant amount of technical knowledge has been condensed into an understandable and well-structured presentation by you. I've already covered a lot of ground with Revit, and this video recaps everything. This video is a valuable resource for anyone looking to learn more about plumbing design in Revit. 👍

My company was forced to get into Revit MEP due to a major client demand. The learning curve has been brutal but MEP Guy has been one of my top go-to sources for real-world information, as well as the undocumented tips, tricks, and work-arounds so critical for making Revit do what we need it to. His videos are understandable and to-the-point. (no pointless tangents and rants). His content is useful and best of all, it actually works!

I downloaded the Revit model you linked to and it isn't named "ZURN BATHROOM.rvt" but rather "Zurn Plumbin Model.rvt". If I go ahead and link it in, it doesn't look the same as in your video. There are no walls, and everything is already piped up, cold and hot water, sanitary drains and vents, etc. I also get a message saying the "nested links will not appear because their Reference Typer is set to Overlay" and to change the Reference Type to Attachment. Doing so doesn't change anything visually. Any idea what the issue is?
@mep_guyАй бұрын
Hey there! I accidentally put the plumbing model in the folder and forgot to add the Architectural Model. Try re-downloading the file and they should be both in there. When following along, you'll want to start a new project from scratch. Go to file, new, and start with either the plumbing default template or use the systems imperial template.
@Shavezkhan45Ай бұрын
Sir how to adjust the outline of duct and Air Terminals?

Should be under the system's graphic overrides similar to how I changed the sanitary color towards the end of the video.
