I wanted to apply for Qkids as a teacher (I'm American but live in Australia), however, they wouldn't even consider hiring me since I am not located in the USA- I'm a citizen and am eligible to work in the USA. I was so bummed... I just did my demo for Cambly. Hopefully, I'll hear something soon.

Yes I have taught for Qkids for over 4 years. I've loved it. I was able to focus in on all of my students in each class because you develop the skill over time and I mean in a short period of time. But I agree that the interview process was A LOT, but I was able to pass and get accepted early in the process ( I didn't have to do all the trial lessons) because they said I did so well in the first couple. But I also did experienced burn out at some points especially at the top of 2020. And yes they do have phonics and other classes they offer in the US. My grandson in the US took some of the classes when he was 3 and 4 years old. And the cancellation policy is why I have stayed with them as my only ESL platform until now. I just started with Cambly last week. I made almost 2ce as much in an hour with Qkids but, I like the 24 hour options (which I did have available to me on Qkids during the early part of the pandemic when all the Chinese kids were at home all day)

The video was very informative and I would love teaching either adults or kids. I am reviewing all the procedures and polices and getting familiar with the process. I am truly looking forward to working with Cambly.

Kids do call in on PH for adults. Some are rude, some say nothing, some say yes and no. No point going visible as you can get nothing but on PH you do get $2.5 an hour...plus any minutes talking to people at 17c a minute............can't buy a house with this but a few hours is ok if ya bored. Keep away from kids terrible way to live.

I'm just wondering, how do you know the level of the student and also what they are going to require during the lesson? Is that something we ask them or will it be obvious before the lesson starts? I'm a little nervous 😬

I have applied for online teaching at Cambly since 2018 because the company is interesting for me. I have been online teacher since 2018 and ESL Certified teacher since 2019 and I have taught during one year at DaDaABC 2019-2020, however Cambly has never accepted me as their teacher. I have worked frequently on my profile and I have changed my videos many times, but I didn’t have approval. Do you why? By the way I speak and write English, Spanish and French. I have bachelor degree and TESOL certificate. Please let me know. Thank you!
