1:57 I really liked when that gets just stood there and let you unload in its face. Or when that Geth prime was literally standing in top of you. Or any time you were out in the open and a geth was shooting at you, but decides to stop shooting when your shields are about to go down. Or when all of the other 1000 geth didn't swarm you as you attacked the colossus. In short, you're full of shit, this isn't Insanity mode, this is a hacked game.

Yeah I kinda realized if you want insanity Vanguard a little bit easier you should choose the 8-shot gun as your main weapon and not the claymore, because inferno ammo is something that can give almost anything a good performance.. But let me be honest, I can't resist that big gun and chance to play DOOM in Mass Effect 2. As for the additional skill, biotic skill are the best of course.....I used to choose reave all the time but then I realized why the hell I need to reave someone from range instead of just charging at them. Slam seems to be the right answer but Vanguard could live without any additional skills. Team cryo ammo is good too.

Huh. You know, I've actually never really seen somebody use medigel just to restore shields. That's an interesting tactic; I guess there's usually plenty of it lying around during missions. Might as well make use of it. I'll have to try that on my next playthrough.

nice fight, sribes never had a chance to win since his dmg is low and shades debuff is huge, but he is super tanky so that was enough to stall the fight for so long

God damn I want this gun. I love shotgun but the only Elite shotty I have so far is the S12 Tiger Blood(which kicks ass) but I want this one the most.

I got 17 with a level 22 sentinel on insanity. I think its the best ill be able to do. That Cain trick really helped though, you do more than half the damage you need to in half a second

Vanguard is OP, Claymore + Inferno ammo + Charge (Champion) = OP. I am unstoppable insanity was a walk in a park. I even took out the Geth Colossus easily with no problem LOL just be cautious with the enemies with flamethrowers and the goddamn Husk when they swarm you. The collectors are a piece of cake too, I had no problem with them.

Just like an action movie~ Won't work on giant mechs though :/

Vanguards for the win! :D The best class in the trilogy, if played properly.

When I played it, I used my squadmates' powers to thin the herd first, then charged in and shotgunned/punched everyone else to death. With that strategy I rarely had to retreat. And I think 2 is harder anyway - the bullets seem to hit harder than in 3, even though in 3 you can feel bullets hitting your cover too.

There's 2 ways to play it. Like a soldier, or like an adept. With the adept you pick off the stragglers and then charge in as a finishing move on the big guys. But if you play like soldier, it's all about hit and run. It's much tough in 2 when you can't just nova/chagre through the whole game.

I recently did a test run of the first few ME2 levels as a Vanguard, and while it was a bit strange fighting without cover, I really liked it. The only times I messed up were the times I accidentally charged a krogan... xD
