Enjoyed this video. Not another one of those guided hunts with 15 people lots of music and video angles from 30 places. Just a couple of average guys enjoying some time out in the field with a dog and birds. Really enjoyed this one.

F the decoy. No you are right to respect his call and keep safety a priority. You have the best content of all the videos I have watched and there's alot of them. We hunt 90% fields very similar to what you hunt except we hunt Oats not much corn here in Nevada. Keep up the good work.

I'm shocked. When i went through Nebraska a few years ago, every pond like that had about 2,000 geese on them. Maybe because it was early March?

@sog4646 in March dark geese should be well on there way back north depending on snow line in mid west

@@sog4646when we were there for this trip (Dec 17-20) the weather was warm just like everywhere else. Small ponds still open and now snow. The dark geese still hadn’t made a big push in and the ducks were able to jump ponds. Don’t get me wrong we saw a lot of ducks but they weren’t concentrated like history would show at that time. The platte river gets a lot better as the smaller waters freeze.
