I know telling folks how to train their dog is like telling them how to raise their kids, but I'll say this. That's a fine pup you got there. Did just about everything the way he should. My only suggestion, for what it's worth, more praise. I find it so amazing how much a "GOOD GIRL!" will do for my dog when she's working. Nice hunt, nice video, great dog!

As a dog guy myself, I know it’s easy to get hot with them but you oughta cut the dog a little slack on delivering to hand and route he’s taking when exiting water. He never broke, he stayed steady and he never got excited when you had birds working. You’ve got a good one, Steve. Keep it up, bud!

He knows to hold into heal..he just has been sloppy with it for while at the end of the retrieves. I have been getting on him about that in the field and during training. He knows what he should be doing. It needs to be reinforced/ corrected. I plan on running him for seasoned or finished passes/ title this upcoming summer. He got his started and junior title this past summer..

you guys did what 90% of guys these days cant figure out you got more quiet the closer they came and when they were already committed you quit. why scream at a bird thats already convinced. ive seen so many birds turn away after being sold and come over and die at our spot because we stayed quiet

I like the goose moan to finish in early season late they hear everything so gotta let the decoys kinda finish them or get real soft

We had big Al's and divebombs on this hunt. They both shine a bit at times. Especially early when wet and sun is rising. Big AL coloration is more accurate but I like how divebombs have flocked heads.
