im so sorry to hear that </3 the brain can be so fickle!!! i have my own inner voices telling me things i hate hearing, and i know im going to be working my whole life to ignore and quiet these voices. i hope your fictional people ease up on you, and remember that youre a person who deserves to be talked to gently and with love. you arent alone!!!

I have CPTSD and OCD, its hard to think without some kind of painful/disgusting/uncomfortable/heartbreaking/shameful/traumatic thoughts sometimes. I know some extent its normal but if you have this very persistently it could be something like that

HAHA im flattered, thank you :) im going to art school because im genuinely just so curious about design and theres sooo much i dont know yet, and so much i want to learn!! i think that i would love to teach art at some point but i want to get myself out in the field and get some life experience under my belt before i do that lol

haha, good question! i’m currently keeping my options open, but im looking into book illlustration (specifically childrens books or graphic novels) or getting into the animation industry, working in visual development or story artist for film and TV. theres a surprising amount of options that come with pursuing illustration, but its all super competitive. getting a stable job is always a concern LMFAO but im just trying to persue my joy and committed to finding a way to make it work. going to art school really openned my eyes to the variety of work options that are available to me, and helped me make industry connections through professors, faculty, alumni, and classmates.

hi!! im no expert and i dont work in admissions or anything, but i think that totally depends on the school. i dont think SCAD would mind, but i dont think Pratt and RISD would be very happy about an entire digital portfolio. i recommend looking up when the next virtual portfolio day is, because then you can talk with the schools directly and ask them yourself! best of luck, from one digital artist to another lol ❤️
