Looks like the LEH is what the Fender wanted to be 😁Both sound great, but the LEH sounds just much more alive, and it looks cooler and more unique as well. But that's just my opinion. Great job speccing your LEH!

None more yellow. Are the Nordstrand pickups in parallel or series for this demo?
@FrowinIckler4 күн бұрын
Hi, the Nordstrands are in serial mode.

What crazy pickups are in that bass. And what bass model? The colour is insane! So is the playing and this track is awesome
@FrowinIckler5 күн бұрын
Thanks a lot! It's a Fender Custom Shop Precision bass, all original. The colour is pea green and is a custom order. I put masking tape over the polepieces to avoid unwanted playing sounds, and, of course, it looks COOL 😎.

Wow, awesome bass! I love that the offset shape is getting more popular again, and LEH came up with a really nice modern but still classic take on it. And it sounds awesome, really dynamic and just as colorful the look 😉Which pickups did you choose? BigRig or Poly Vox?
@FrowinIckler6 күн бұрын
Thanks a lot!! The pickups are the BigRigs. But would be interesting to hear the difference. The Poly Vox are brandnew, do you have some expierence ?
@VeitLehmann6 күн бұрын
@@FrowinIckler No, I just learned about them as well. But the BigRigs sound awesome already! Are those extra switches to split them?

Those big rigs sound fantastic! Killer bass, LOVE LEH, and great playing! Side note, I'm familiar with the usual LEH electronics, but what are those three switches next to the faders?
@FrowinIckler17 күн бұрын
Hi, the 2 upper switches are for changing the PU's from serial to paralell mode. The third switch changes the center frequency for the mid slider. The intro piece is played with neck PU in paralell mode, all the other examples are in serial mode...

Great playing! Killer tone. What pickups do you have in your DeGier?
@FrowinIckler3 ай бұрын
Hi, thanks a lot! The pickups are Nordstrand NP5V (special built for DeGier with symetric polepieces). Great sounding combo. But I recently switched to a Lindy Fralin PU (special built for DeGier) that even sounds better in my opinion.

@FrowinIckler4 ай бұрын

The potential cost of that bass is terrifying me beyond the greatness of the song and the playing. 😂
@FrowinIckler5 ай бұрын
Hi, thanks a lot! Yes the bass costs a lot. But for a bass that is build with worldclass craftsmanship (even the hardware is made by themselves) it is totally worth the money. And in this case, when you buy an instrument you don't finance the Porsche from the brand owner, you just give the money to two modest germans who needs it for a living ;-)
