Mayby you have too small propeller, it should fly with those motor, esc and batteries. Try at least 35-36mm propeller!

Thanks dude! Couldn't remove the shaft by pliers so I drilled a hole on the other side of the rotor, inserted a piece of new shaft and used a press (my column drill) to remove the old shaft

I wonder if valve lapping compound could make the gears and cutters slide better. You probably couldn't use the Permatex stuff since its course and relies on metal-to-metal clamping force to crush it into a finer grit but you might be able to use the ones that come in multiple grit sizes so long as you thoroughly clean each part afterwards. Although even then some of the lapping paste would get embedded since it has a tendency to embed into metal which is why Chrysler(?) tells their techs not to use it and instead rely on valve seat cutting instead. However, you might have an advantage for shredding if a bunch of lapping grit gets embedded in the plastic and functions kind of like a blade.

I have a YKS X1806 2300KV motor that fits perfectly inside the boat, can I use BLHeLi 20A ESC listed in your boat parts ? or do I need to buy a different ESC ?

Ein Problem sehe ich: lipos dürfen nur bis ungefähr 3.3v entladen werden. Und die kleinen pouch Zellen sind oft lipos. Die schutzschaltung vom usb Board entlädt aber meist bis 2.5 (li-ion) was einen lipo Akku killt. Ansonsten sehr cooles Projekt.

Like your boat design. Compact and pretty fast too. Selfrightning is great. The only thing that can make it even more nice is adding sprayrails to keep the water from splashing so high on the sides. You have sort of sprayrails already but I think they are too small or in the wrong place. Is even will help to lift the boat a bit out of the water too to get even higher top speed. Maybe the downside could be that the boat will be less good in keeping track in the corners. It might start skipping sideways in a corner and loose prime to the pump. if so a little change of the steeringnozzle could help you to stop that from happening. somewere between 5 and 15 degrees upward angle will push the back of the boat down a bit to keep it track better in that case. but only do that when it would not corner tight after adding spray rails.
