Hi Anthony, I might be interested in paying for a subscription to your service, but I would really like to be able to test all the features for a free period to see if I like them. For example, the company research tab required payment to access. Can you offer a 7 or 14 day free trial to potential subscribers?

Hey Steve! Thanks for this comment. I just added in 5 free tests to the free plan for the company research feature. If you have any additional questions, the best place to make sure I respond is [email protected]. Enjoy!

Perfect. Thank you for the video👍🏻 Can you make a video on how to work on a product from concept to launch and what are the steps involved in it. There is not any clear video related to it on KZbin. This is a request plus suggestion😀👍🏻

Good effort, but first problem is that this Product Manager is not User Researcher. User researchers are gathering much more qualitative data about the overall experience during the pre-booking and booking process. For some reason, you are fixated on the method of communication between dog owners and walkers. We do not gather preferences! We need to understand the **WHY** people are having these problems during booking and provide deeper insights. You also do not need hundreds of people to send it out to. You only need to interview or do diary studies with several users during the time of booking. I am seeing leading questions in your survey and also asking participants to solution. That's the job of a designer. There's also a lot of attitudinal data and not behavioral data. Sorry Anthony, but I see a lot of opportunities for improvement in your process.

Thanks for this basic summary video. Example was quite helpful. Would have loved to see the following: - A live demo of setting up the experiments on Amplitude along with their trackers - More real life insights about how many experiments does an average PM conduct concurrently, what's the average user segment size and whether they always complete their decided time limit
@ProductManagerAnthony2 ай бұрын
Thanks so much! Glad you found value. As for your requests: 1. This is something I can look into adding in a future lesson! 2. Teams are usually running a small number of A/B tests at a given time. The reason is so that they can quickly finish one and then move onto the next. If you have multiple running at once, you need to make sure they're all mutually exclusive from one another, which cuts down the number of users who are eligible for the test. If you have an enormous product (like KZbin) you are able to more easily do this, especially if you are testing completely unrelated parts of the product. In terms of average user segment size, it's very dependent on the product & their current metrics. I would rely on the a/b test sample size calculators online to calculate. Usually teams do leave a test running for the recommended time so they can be very confident that the results are actually statistically significant and not due to random noise. If the results are overwhelming positive or negative though, teams usually see that quickly and can turn off the test and move on to another one.

Hi Anthony, Thank you for your incredible content! I truly appreciate what you’re doing. Could you create a piece specifically about cover letters? There are many generic resources available, but I believe it would be more beneficial to include a focus on market research and analysis related to the company.

*software product management. Its crazy how every single video out there about product management assumes the only field is sofware development. Breaking news, biotechnology hardware (with human living tissue) is also a field in which there's rpoduct managers. Completely useless (and fairly ignorant) clickbait video

Would you recommend getting a bachelors degree? If so in what sector? Also can you break through in this industry without one?
@ProductManagerAnthony4 ай бұрын
I would strongly recommend getting a bachelors degree. A degree such as computer science would be ideal to gain a technical skill set. I think it would be quite challenging if not impossible to break into product without a bachelors degree at the minimum.

I’m 36. In project management for a tech based distribution company. I most design warehouses with cad professionals and engineers, manage jobs and contractors. I like tech stuff and drawn to it but this hit me after college ( I didn’t have a good compass of what I wanted in college like most people). I find the product manager position. Very interesting. my question is does my prior skill set fit in any way to markets that use product managers and if I go get a certificate as well as learn some things based off of this video would make a good transition to this type of job?
