All these serpent handling churches have great music, no matter which video you see and there are some on YT to find. But they all have this energetic music, hand clapping, foot stomping kind of music. I wish we had this in Europe in our churches.

John 4:23-24 God is a spirit: and they that worship him MUST worship HIM in spirit and in truth. My own father was a snake-handling Pentecostal preacher/pastor from southern West Virginia….so I’m not ignorant of this religious sect. I believe that Mark 16:18 has been so misunderstood and twisted up by many very good Christian people for far too long. In the 16th chapter of Mark, Jesus was talking to his disciples, and this was his supernatural guarantee to them that when they went out to preach, they would have divine protection against serpents, scorpions or anything else that could harm them. This is why Jesus concluded by saying “Nothing shall by any means hurt you.” He didn’t mean for people to go out and gather up deadly poisonous snakes, keep them locked up in little boxes until it’s time to take them out and play with them and molest them! Snakes are part of God’s creation too, and what these people are doing to these snakes is pure and simple abuse! They’re not glorifying God by putting on these circus-like side shows…they’re glorifying themselves! All this proves is that they don’t really have a good and correct understanding of God’s word. This kind of “worship” is not worshipping God in spirit and in truth. It’s a deadly and dangerous game to play…I’ve witnessed too many men and women get bit and die and leave their children behind with only one parent, and in some cases with no parents…..and I don’t see where that’s glorifying God at all….in fact, I can’t imagine that God would be too pleased with any of this kind of ignorance! If you want to play with poisonous snakes, join a circus or a freak show, but don’t do it under the guise of worshipping and glorifying God Almighty!

Bro.what you sacrifice for the lord like not watching TV im won't judge you..but bro don't you feel that it's a lack of understanding God's word picking up serpents? Couldn't it be another meaning to it such as having power over evil spirits..the Apostole s the 12 didn't pick up serpents ..so, you think God would want you to do it?? I'm pentecostal to but the wisdom of God let's my pastor know tht we don't do that. Cast out devils speak with new tongues yes..believe and be baptized yes..

I never heard about Jesus handling a snake. I did read where the apostle Paul shook one off in the fire when it latched on to him...he didn't dance around and play with it. They may not be mishandling those snakes, but they are sure mishandling Mark 16:18.

The spirit of Christ will not have you do anything that will harm you, if it’s truly the spirit of GOD you know beyond a doubt, this sounds like the spirit of ignorance, your being harmed by your own doing!

My great grandparents came from Ocle Pychard near Hereford. Great grannie was a Bevan so NHS ?. In 1872, the new abundance of cheap agricultural produce from the American Midwest caused a deep agricultural recession in England, especially Hereford etc... My great grandparents lost everything so they headed North to the grim mIlls of Yorkshire. Go forward a few years and I was born a Yorkshireman... Then I emigrated to Wisconsin in the American Midwest and became a millionaire... The circle is complete. ps In the Census of 1870, my great granddad shared a room in Ocle Pychard with a cowboy !

Sadly the City is a shadow of it's former self. Years of various councils dithering over plans for certain things or just making decisions that have the population scratching their heads have brought this City, which at one point had character, vibrancy, was clean and full of people who were proud to live here, to a level that is sad to see.

This is one of the better videos on this religious sect, their beliefs, and how they practice their faith. That you focused on the religion and the brotherhood in God seen at the last several minutes of this video , is really what this is all about. As the Pastor noted, not everyone handles the serpents, yet they come for the service twice a week.

I don't know if anyone would agree, but Joyce was a beautiful, elegant lady, lovely high cheek bones, and a lovely angular face, and a lovely smile. I remember when you could clearly see one eye was false, as it always looked straight ahead. I think she wore an eye contact, to make the eye look as if it was working, then she had to have the eye removed and a glass one put in. I often wonder if she hasn't left it to be healed by her Christian science faith and seeked medical help she may have survived?

“They shall take up serpents” means that we should raise our kundalini serpent up from our private area, spine and to our heads! That’s what that means! It means to become wise and enlightened! The snakes lead! 🐍 🐍 🙏 ❤️
