With the expense of snow foam,then foaming your car twice to wash it makes zero sence to me..what works for me is a rinse with the jet washer to take off the heavy dirt,then snow foam,let it dwell and then contact wash it..with the wheels and tyres being the dirtiest part of the car,i do them first with some wheel cleaner and snow foam over the wheel cleaner

what is that pressure wash hose. i need one, mine curls up too much
@davida72845 ай бұрын
So…good objective video. But I will say that in ANY of the applications (after drying) there was what I would consider quite a fair amount of leftover traffic film. The contact wash after would DEFINITELY be moving dirt around EITHER WAY. I bring this up because a lot of people want to take good care of their paint but don’t want to believe they’re harming their car by traditional contact methods. After all, traditional was fine for a very…long…time.

The hose issue is common accros virtually the entire Karcher range as I've an HD 4/8 professional and the hose is the bloody same.... Its an utter joke

I think you should read the instruction that came with the Foam Cannon.The knob on the top of the cannon is to allow you to adjust the foam thickness to what you want.From what I can see you have almost got the foam adjuster turned off.Hope this helps.

I've watched umpteen of these videos over the last few years and irrespective of the power washer and lance combinations and as near as damn it 100ml diluted to 1 litre is 1%..... So if you need 4% your calculations possibly going to be in the range of 380-420mls diluted to 1 litre so 400mls is going to be as near makes no difference as nobody is going to measure out exactly 368 mls .... If you find it's a bit weak just a tad more and if you feel its to much cut it back the next time
@MrShadyDude5 ай бұрын
What a difference! Nice job!!!!😃

I am a little bit confused… technically in the can you need to have diluted product… are you adding water on top of your pure bilt and hamber from the can?
@petersmith71266 ай бұрын
I'm only a weekend warrior but this has been tested by many detailers here on KZbin and the tests have all concluded that a pre rinse makes no difference to the cleaning ...... And in fact washing the dried in dirt under pressure can actually cause scratching and marring of the paintwork ...... If my car is particularly dirty as in heavy dirt I'll soak it with my garden hose to just soften the dirt as opposed to trying to wash it off ..... I've just bought a new pressure washer and I'm waiting to try it out, weather has been horrendous to try anything just now and I've recently moved up to having bought a citrus prewash to use prior to snowfoaming the car although again if heard it's sometimes just as easy to mix the citrus prewash in with the snowfoam to give it a bit more bite at cleaning
@tripsingh36426 ай бұрын
Great video does the dial on the snow foam lance need to be adjusted to the plus + all the way or does it not matter, just subscribed on your channel
@GoodLuggageAutomotiveDetailing6 ай бұрын
So this lance I like as there is 5 settings so put it for how you want your foam to come out and measure accordingly. For likes of mjjc, as hard to get exact everything, just go full plus and work put calculations from there
