Glad you enjoyed but this was bound to fail. Have you seen Jenny Nicholson's The Spectacular Failure of the Star Wars Hotel? Probably the best take from someone that experienced the trip. I'm sure you have seen it but if you haven't is 4 hours long but it has over 12 million views. The best part is they teased the concept art for people to get excited, only to see the end result...a generic science fiction experience with a Star Wars label on it and a sequel trilogy that, let's face it, not that many people cared. What's sad is Star Wars is now nothing more than a category on a failed streaming service and half a billion immersive experienced that crashed. If they add it prequel and original series character and lower the price guaranteed it will sell. But instead, they wanted to cater to a modern audience that doesn't exist. Now it has become an office building for the imaginers. What a sad way to end this failed venture!

@@Dan-O Nah! It was authentic, honest and hilarious. if you make a 4 hour video and have more than 12 millions views, she is doing something right. Even Disney tried to take it down but it failed. Like I said, glad you liked it but this was a failure of biblical proportion financially.

@@NorbertoCaban she was authentic in her emotions but she also failed to give truthful information for much of that video. The general community of people who actually visited and participated in the project have complete disdain for that video because it's not a true representation of what it was. Jenny is incentivized to overly criticize and feign outrage, even set her self up for failure in order to create her style of content. It gets views. doesn't mean it's real or accurate. Hell i was even credited on that video, doesn't make what she showed a good representation of what the actual experience was like for most. Number of views doesn't dictate quality or accuracy. It represents knowing how to create intriguing and interesting content which she excels at, factual or not.

@@Dan-O well a lot of it made sense to me and to the many that watched it. I understand that you have a narrative to defend, but the truth of the matter is I can see if a product is authentic or not from a mile away, and even if that 4 hour video was never produced, I still wasn't convinced from the beginning. It was basically a generic si fy hurricane bunker with a Star Wars label on it. They simply fail to understand what the audience wanted...Vader, Han, Luke, Leia, Bobba Fett and the rest of the prequel and originals. I grew up watching from it from 1976 and I understand the mythology and lore that George Lucas created. This hotel was simply Dollar Store Star Wars. Plain and simple. Now...I am not judging you or anyone who enjoy it it, by all means if it opens again ( well, that's not gonna happen ever since is now a half a billion dollar Office Space), then by all means sure! Have a blast! At least you have Star Wars Galaxy Edge, ( to which I have not visited and never will) until changes are made at Lucasfilms.

I know I'm super late to the party but my 5 and 8-year-old are now old enough to be more responsible with these types of toys so I've been scouring eBay... I grew up with the ones from the '80s and the '90s and most of them are intact but now I can buy the big boys that I couldn't as a kid.. Point is, I'm so glad and grateful that you make these videos focusing on the old and new sets which makes it so much easier deciding. You give super in-depth videos and I truly appreciate it. 6:55 quick question Dan! Are there differences between forge series 1 lightsabers systems and Kyber Core??? I noticed when I held the kyber button down it would hum for a couple seconds or so before turning off, so I'm wondering if that's the special gimmick feature of the KC wave, and if there was anything that made forge one stand out as well.....

I was seeking your channel just right now Dan O, hoping of course you already knew about the lightsaber forge backwards compatibility with blade builders!! 😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩 Ultimately I was wondering about this actually and it got me wanting to experiment to see if just for fun that the peg part connectors would actually fit, and the strangest thing happened, THEY DID AND OH MY GOSH I WAS FANBOYING LIKE CRAZY LIKE HOLY COW I CAN ACTUALLY USE BLADE BUILDERS WITH FORGE?!?! I NEED TO GET MORE OF THESE FORGE SABERS, This is a dream come true and YES I GOT MYSELF THE DARK SABER FORGE LIGHTSABER AS WELL! 🥰🥰😎😎😏😏 Oh yeah! And also by the way, since I also had that Star wars rebel blade builder That was owned by what was his name?? He was the Jedi that trains Ezra, yeah I have his lightsaber but it's not electronic, and the other only surviving 2 remainder pieces were the Kylo Ren lightsaber and the Jedi blade builders starter handle grip thing that has three peg ports on the outer curved rim; I've been mixing and matching experimenting with new combinations like crazy!!!!! And at first I thought it was actually exclusively to the Kyber Force wave that you could peg them in that way, so I'm really glad that if I choose to collect more, I can use them with my blade builder stuff! THANK YOU DAN, WILL TRY TO GET MORE FORGE 🔥🫡 Oh and HAPPY FORCE FRIDAY EVERYBODY!

I am 100% sure the tonfa lightsaber part was available at disney parks. I have it on mine that I built there. I am pretty sure all these parts were available there but the tonfa one i know for sure
