Amazing video, it's really comprehensive. And Klei should really do smth about the useless and annoying extra biomes, and about how bad ruins generation can be. Sometimes it's not split. Sometimes it's split but close. And sometimes you have you travel the seven seas to get from one branch to another. That one time when I didn't know it could split, and was so confused when I saw that the ancient key was so far away, and I tried to find branches that lead to it, still annoys me when I remember it. Also, I remember hearing that chess pieces can't spawn on rocky turf at all. So obviously the rockylands biome, the triple mctusk part with rocks, and the quarry of the spider quarry

Yeah, I've heard that as well! Didn't check if it was 100% true though and I didn't want to spread misinformation! The chess pieces didn't spawn in the nest biome either

There's the milkmade hat, the belt of hunger and WX-18 upgrades that can basically slow down the hunger drain a lot, I heard you can be an entire season without eating.The milkmade hat is done with nostrils from the creatures in the lunar grotto and milk from charged volt goats (a little hard to get, but not impossible impossible) and wanda can use her clock to revive herself at the cost of 1 living log and 1 bone.

There is also a video debunking much of that evidence (I think the video is called "The truth about the DST community's biggest scandal or something like that). I'm not saying he's completely innocent but I'm saying he's also very much a victim of malicious intent and harassment and that he's been framed in most areas. Also, I didn't even link his video in the description (although I would have if the description hadn't reached character limit but still). Besides, I think the video is very helpful in terms of showcasing different boon set pieces which is the most important part, and it's not like THAT video was "stolen" content. I suggest you watch the debunk my friend and approach it with an open mind!

Thanks for taking the efforts to make this video, and Kingdom Rush music are always welcome haha. Wish I have known about this video early on to save much of my time. Now I am sure some details are not gonna be exactly accurate since this was done manually, and wonky world generation aside, but in the end, I suppose it is decent enough for newbies and not-too-hardcore DST players

New dont starve player here; this video is very helpful! :) Also, it is possible for the dragonfly desert to spawn as a close biome! Source: It happened to me just the other day! It was pretty much right next to spawn, and it was the dragonfly setpiece itself! I knew the dragonfly was a boss but still went up to it to see what the fight would be like... Only to find out that it moves faster than you can run, and it quickly one-shotted me. Curiousity really killed the cat there LMAO

Lmao! Well, the answer is yes it can but only if world generation gets bugged and loops back on itself (or if you change world settings but the guide doesn't go into that). The reason I said it never does (even though I myself have seen that happen in the past) is because I never got it in any of my 100 worlds! So yeah, it's possible but since close biomes refer to the number of biomes away and not the distance away, I thought it would be more accurate to say it never is close

I think the easiest way to beat this challenge would be a lunar aligned mighty Wolfgang He can kill terrorbeaks with 3 hits (with dark sword) Wanda can do the same but she attacks slower and has to be granny so too risky

I'm new to DST. My world was the second time ever playing and I _just couldnt find grass_ I died pretty early, not being able to create fire. Now I know I had to hunt out geckos!

Great that the guide helped! Just know that it's random for every world and that even if you have a gecko world, savannahs will still have grass and there will always be a savannah in the starter biome!

Hi! Love this vid! Just wondering how you got the boss health bar display? The mod I use shows the health of every single mob which is very annoying I wish it just showed bosses health. If you could help that would be great thank you!

Absolutely! It's a very popular mod called "Epic Healthbar" and it's a server mod (so you need to enable it for each world). It also has the option to give healthbars to every enemy in the same way but I don't recommend that setting since it kinda defeats the purpose of the mod! Glad you enjoyed the video too! I'm working on a new similar challenge run that is even more crazy. It will be out in about a week probably so stay tuned!

Yeah, but that's the beauty of it IMO! Despite the combat being simple, it's still very hard to learn. I recommend looking up a kiting guide if you want to improve at that. Then the next step would be getting a grasp on how much armor and healing you need for specific encounters as well as how to gather that stuff quickly! The most fun part about Don't Starve is learning new things about the game, that's the main reason behind why I do these challenge runs in the first place! New video within two weeks BTW!

Very nice. I just started playing the main don’t starve game, planning to play don’t starve together later. This game has a lot of content available and great value for the price. I’ll probably play DST alone though because I have no friends interested in video games
