I mean I use every methods available, from hound mound/Varg, earthquakes, ruins reset, dragon fly, sunken chest the all package. The real important thing is to move fast and play like you're on a world record speed run. If your friends can be good little ghost and help you out it's extremely easy. Otherwise, you'll just have to be very efficient.

Absolutely! That's actually what gave me the idea in the first place! I actually mention it in the video around 6:59 but with how much info that's packed into this video, I totally understand you missed it. The reason I didn't go for it in this attempt was that I tried it in a failed run and realized that Wortox only gains half the hunger value from it! This made it not worth crafting for me since it's so expensive, requiring resources from both the sea, the caves, and the surface! I even made a bull-kelp farm so I would have the option to make some if I would need to! Enjoy

Look into beefalo taming. It's like having 1000 extra health, a spear with infinite durability that can upgrade to a ham bat with infinite spoil time and then to a dark sword with infinite durability and no sanity penalty, and almost double walk speed _everywhere you go_ . It _trivializes_ the seasonal bosses.

Yeah, this game has so many layers to it! You can't actually officially "win" yet though, Klei hasn't added a FINAL FINAL boss to the game and they're still adding post endgame content frequently so I have no doubt the actual ending will come in a few years. The common consensus in the community is however that the Celestial Champion and Ancient Fuelweaver bosses are both considered "final bosses" since they're the last raid bosses on their respective questline. They are also the key to unlocking shadow and lunar affinities for skill-tree characters. It's pretty fascinating, and I hope you enjoyed the video!

Well, DST is the more popular game (and the harder) but reviving still exists in normal DS, you just have to wear the amulets when you die. TLDR it might be possible!

(Auto-)Pause-Buffering inside the Fuelweaver fight was probably the first and last time I see that strat being useful. (The map teleports for soul management.) Zelda Runners of all Genres approve.~ Also, gotta say though seeing the boss hp makes handling them so much easier it's silly. Even though it doesn't change the bosses, it makes perfect planning and final sprints a strategy. Sick run! I've tried the concept of no-eating challenges with Wurt (more time), Wendy in public (revival item printer) and Wanda's self-revival clock spamming to go a full season without moving... but I did not consider combining it with a stressful boss clear. Mad respect. Edit: One question about that CC fight plase 1-2, where are all the annoying ghosts lol, with full sanity there should be way more and way more aggressive.

Great video with interesting strats. I see how Wortox has great healing for this challenge, but as a long time WX-Main I wonder if the Gastrogain-Circuits could be of any use in that challenge. Normally nobody ever uses them, but here I think it could be interesting. With 3 Super Circuits giving 20% slower Hunger Drain each (Dont know how they stack with each other and the Belt of Hunger tho) you could really live quite a time. The only problem I see is reactivating the circuits fast after each hunger reset. With Electrik Milk being out of the question, I wonder If you could build an elaborate ligthning Rod-Setup or ask a friendly Winona to leave you a G.E.Merator in the world.

Have you tried the milk made hat? I've only used it once before but i think it's an effect instead of counting as eating, like jelly beans or soothing tea (both of which are uneffected by Warly's memory) so i don't think you would get half effect as Wortox. Ie if wortox gets full effect of jelly beans i think he would get full effect of the milk hat

Ehhhhh, not really no! There are two "final bosses" like I explained in the intro but that's really just decided by the community since they're the end of the two biggest quest lines and the start of the post-endgame rift content. I have a feeling that Klei is building towards an actaul final boss though, that requires you to beat the other ones first! With that being said, normal Don't Starve has an ending!

I haven't played this much since the early days... this is not the Don't Starve I remember, but it seems pretty cool still. What makes that last boss 'beating' the game though? I'm curious.

Well, currently there isn't really a clear definition on what "beating the game" actually is but it's pretty common to consider the Ancient FW and the Celsetal Champion to be the two "final bosses" since they unlock "post endgame" content. In time I believe there will be another final boss that requires beating both of them but as it currently stands that is the common definition of "beating" DST"!

The crown is what's keeping me sane in the fight! It makes it so that FW's -200/min sanity aura becomes +100/min so without it I'll go insane in seconds which would make the fight MUCH harder, more annoying, and more RNG based due to the nightmares. I had to play very carefully to not break it!

@@-TheChosenOne I really do appreciate your creativity and how you challenge yourself. The way you use more uncommon tools is especially fun. I haven't seen Jakey's video but I'm sure there are all kinds of ways to change things up. Such as no followers something. If you really want to suffer you could go even further and make a "pristine" run or something. As in no destroying anything that doesn't regen. Picking grass is okay but digging it up isn't, chopping trees can't be done by the player, etc. Basically leave a minimal footprint as though you were never even there.

I know man! The thing is though, that I think Klei is gonna implement an actual ending eventually and the closest thing we have in DST specifically to "beat the game" is the two "final bosses" (final in terms of being the last raid boss on their quest lines and them being BY FAR the most significant bosses lore-wise too). I somewhat agree with your statement but by beating these two I think I prove that I can tackle most any challenge without eating. That was my reasoning at least! Enjoy

That's cool if you think so! I made it my "style" to use text commentary during boss fights so the music can take more space than if I spoke instead. Also, I was kinda in a rush when making this video which definitely got reflected in the text comments. With that said, I only really explain what happens in the text commentary so it's completely optional to read it but I can see that it might take focus away from the fight! If you can come up with a way to both let the music take space and text commentary to not be cringe, I'm genuinely all ears! Enjoy!
