Somehow, even more than by the technique, I'm impressed by the fact all three shimpans were able to call this strike correctly. I can see white was first as I look at the slow motion frame by frame, but that they were able to do it live is incredible.
Mochida-Sensei was also a master of Hokushin Itto-ryu Kenjutsu. In fact, the gekiken (freestyle sparring) practice of Hokushin Itto-ryu is considered to be the direct ancestor of modern kendo.
I am so proud of being a student of Itokazu Sensei

Ah the WKC isn't even interesting anymore. Just give it to Japan and be done with it. Stop waisting other people's time with these bought judges. Better yet other countries should just have their own WKC excluding Japan and these trained judges that do the same thing every three years.

@jamjax that's right. Kendo is a training method for sword fighting. Not a live blade fighting. For that, you have kendo kata and iai.

@timsk In Korea there had never existed Kumdo-Kendo. Because Korea had been slave dependency of China for 1000 years long. When Chinese ambassador visited Seoul, Korean king must welcome at the gate of suburbs of Seoul, with many times bowing as kneeling on ground directly.So Korean king needed not to fight agaist China. And Yangbang peer controled people by displaying short sword. Yangbang took the sword on his back. It means useless sword. Korean's costume was as wellas chinese costume.

@FellBlade9 Oh nose, did I jump off the bridge? O whew. I'm still alive. I was just posting shit on KZbin. Whew.
@lamyunholic13 жыл бұрын
@FellBlade9 Sure. Because posting a video of questioning judge's call and asking for sympathy on KZbin is. Not to mention all these idiots throughout the entire comment page.

In Kendo match, if winner performs or displays his winning proudly. The winning must be canceled by referees. Boasting after winning is forbidden in BUSHIDO. Japanese Budo needs the atitude modestly.

Korean kendo is not beautiful. I think korean doesn't understand about Kendo's essence. Bcs, the samurai's culture did not exist in Korea. 気=「Spirit」, 剣=「Swordmanship」, 体=「Stance and Posture」, It is set to Ippon only after these elements are in agreement. Korean kendo has the bad balance of these elements. bcs, its not beautiful. Korean change all the martial art into an insincere sport. Kendo,Judo,Karate,Aikido..etc..

Eiga, Tsuki...so clean, so nice. Even if the judges didn't count them.
