the only way to keep the white threads is to pull the threads individually, using the seam ripper youre just ripping all the white threads.

Pretty cool. I think it would look more authentic if the khaki was stained before the patches were added. The base fabric just looks too clean for something thats supposed to looks like it was worn a lot and repaired. Same thing goes for the patches. I would have distressed certain patches to make them look older than others. Awesome work over all!

I'm glad this style never went extinct. We bleached and distressed our own jeans back in the 80's and early 90's. At age 55 I still wear this style. Funny how people my age and older back then looked at us as if we had lost our minds, but that was part of the fun of this style: pissing off the old people.
