Anyway you could do a more detailed video on how to align and layer the material when sewing the flare pant. Its a little confusing how to get the too point of the flare sewed clean. Thanks.

Only thing that looks wrong to me on em is there’s not enough loose strands compared to the og and I agree with doing mosaic patches on some lighter denim (preferably the same George jean Material but u did an awesome job! Easy 9/10 at worst

Hey man. Ive been watching you for a while trying to learn to make diy myself. Could you please tell me how you learned all the basics and then started making such fire clothes?

KZbin vids of course helped a lot with understanding the basics like how to use a sewing machine or how to thread a needle for hand sewing. But everything else, and even getting better at the basics, was through experience, having a goal in mind and then experimenting different ways to get it. One method didn’t work then I’d try another. Also, I found a designer who became my inspiration and closely studied their work guessing how they made certain things I found interesting/cool and started incorporating them into my projects. The more I did one thing the better I got at it and it just evolves from there. Nike said it best: Just do it 🤜🏽

@@feeding_addiction I mean that’s not really possible to get down exactly because they actually use vintage jeans then throw higher quality threads,reinforced stitch quality,and hardware on there but there’s a bunch of different washing methods u can find online that speed up the aging as well as methods like rubbing, sun fading etc. that u can also do. Probably just try and find some semi aged Levi’s for cheap that are a couple years old where the agings started and try a lil bit of whatever aging processes u can do and that should be fine. Also remember just wearing the hell out of em will get em there in time

The glue is only temporary to keep the patch repairs in place while I darning stitch them. The darning is what’s holding everything down
