Why use 2x6 instead of 2x4?
@studiy0702
@studiy0702 21 күн бұрын
Because the steel beam that the wall is under is the same with as 2x6 so I made sense to use that material. Also when I got to install the wall sheeting it comes nice and flush on both sides to the beam. You won’t see the beam after it’s sheeted and I don’t have to fur anything out this way. Hopefully this makes sense. Thanks for the comment bud

I like tapcons I feel they hold the plate better for interior concrete. And also the beam shouldn’t move it’s locked in hard at both ends. I sheeted the other side of the wall with OSB so it’s solid. Im going to mount all my boiler piping to it so I don’t want it to move at all.

Good luck with that mower, it is the best. Just make sure you turn off fuel and let engine run until it will turn off when there is no more gas. That is the best way to winterize but add some stabilizer to the gas in the tank!!!😅🤣😂

@@studiy0702 Actually the Honda lawn mower is even better than side discharge because by leaving the selector to bag instead of mulch, it will discharge clippings from the back. that is what I use always: No bagging the cut grass, and no mulching... Thee 1025r is thee most popular tractor we sold back when I worked for john deere. I wouldn't recommend trading it in for 1025r though. The reason for this for me is thee amount of maintenance points to grease. You can get a tiller for that model. The tractor you have now only has 3 points of grease. 2 I think on the mower deck and 1 in the front bottom hidden away. You already have the best tractor, but I do understand thee 1025r does have alot more features.

Yes I agree it would be nice to have a detachable loader with it as well as long as having a 3 point attachment. Because a plow for the loader is sweet back when I had my 2025. What was that mower belt looking thing on top of the dirt pile, just before video ends? The setup reminds me of my 20+ yr old non-hydraulic GT235 with 48" plow. I moved a lot of dirt with it, just like you are doing. Also manure piles from horses. Only the 54" mower deck has to come off, before plow goes on. Now have a 1025r, with loader, etc. I know you had a 2520 with loader. The garden tractor and heavy duty plow can do a lot for a homeowner. Including lots of snow removal. A loader is nice, but typically somewhere from doubles to quadruples the cost of the tractor/toy 😂

The rubber belt was just the junk dirt my neighbor delivered from his farm and had rubber belt it the pile.. yes a 1025r with loader and mower deck would be great for landscaping and pushing snow. But at the time all I need was the mower. Because I still had the 2520. Then sold that. Now definitely wanting a small loader tractor back again.. definitely an expensive toy. The only big plus for me is transporting material from one spot to another, a plow is hard to do that without getting it all over the yard. Just have to get the wife to sign off. Sorry man! I actually got rid of it all after I took it apart. So garbage man has it now. I post the video yesterday and took down the table a few days before. I wish I would of known.
