I know this is a long shot, but is there any chance that you'd make a video on the rear suspension? I'd love to see a video for the rear suspension because ill be doing this to my truck soon!

thanks for the video! got a 1994 k1500. release bearing went, vibrations caused the slave to skip off the fork almost immediately, which ended up seizing/blowing the master. and judging by the smells and sounds it was making on the limp home, burned out the clutch plate. i have just two floor jacks, jack stands, couple full socket sets, and no transmission jack. oh, and its going be a high of 8 celsius for the next week or so here on the west coast(everything WILL be rusted in place). got a clutch kit, pivot ball, master cylinder, and clutch fork on the way. and a general question about the NV3500, anyone know what type of fluid to use?? literally everything i read contradicts another thing i read, its a perfectly frustrating circle.

Update: My clip did break, it's an aftermarket core of course, I "made" a new clip out of a house door latch striker, I couldn't really make a lip reliable enough where I'd trust it after some time, so I bolted another one to it, and let the bottom of the box sorta keep it in position and the strikers would keep the top of it up. I got pretty decent heat now where before I had maybe luke warm heat as the core was sitting at the bottom of the box. If for whatever reason that don't work in the long run or next time i'm in there or the same issue happens with one of my other GMT400 trucks, I'm just going to make my own bracket, I could make one out of vary thin sheet metal, design it to hook into the bottom of the core, and wrap to the top where the single screw is to hold it place, if it was a factory style or shape core, I wouldn't have to fight with this. I just rigged it up as it was 12F outside and I needed the truck later that day for a 200 mile haul, just needed heat now lol. Thanks for the video man!

Just wanted to ask a couple questions if I may. In between cans of refrigerant do you close the low pressure side and purge the new cans before continuing fill. What should the low pressure side gage read during and after fill.

I’m the same way. Change oil after 1000 miles of break in. Never know if metal chips could be in during assembly. 5000 miles the way to go. Lexus at 10000 way too long. At 5000 mile oil change my Mobil 1 extended 0-20 was very dark in color. I would not want to see at 10000. Better safe than sorry

Sir, when you pull that oil filter cartridge up, is the excess oil going all over everything from the cartridge to everything below it to the ground? Or just back into the engine compartment and out the drain plug? Thank you
