Loved how experiential this was: the theme played out so nicely. Copious notes made for feeling soft, kind and positive on demand. And teachings were also very much aligned with my own spiritual journey. Thank you Mark :)

A very sober evaluation. I would add that this course is flawed, but it's still the best in the world by some distance. I speak as an alumnus of it, and as one who's looked at scores of others, virtually all of which include rubbish like NLP, Ericksonianism, and/or past-life regression.

Hey Mark. Been through your website and introductory webinar. Love the evidence-based approach and the curriculum. I'm seriously considering signing up in a few months when I complete my Masters degree in psychology. However, my only concern is the complete negation of past trauma and childhood experiences. I have had tremendous healing in my own journey via these means. While I agree with the premise of working in the present moment, and plan to centre my approach around CBT, I'm also interested in the ability to regress people to their childhood and process past trauma, should the need arise. Is this at least a small part of the curriculum. Will I have this skill in my toolbox if I complete this course? Please let me know if this is the case as my decision to enroll hinges on it. Thanks

I find the idea of the network modal so much more hopeful and reassuring. There is so much chatter online about healing past trauma and I've often wondered whether this is achievable when you can't change the past or even be sure about how you remember it.

Thanks Mark. With respect to the approach of psychoanalysis as a former patient I experienced it as ultimately fruitless and frustrating in exploring ' the root cause ' of my issues not to mention incredibly expensive. I found that the sessions were laboured in trying to uncover something else in addition it was very unsatisfying. A typical case of inhibition and adopted coping strategies to counteract discomfort and anxiety. I would have saved a fortune if I had come across Salter & his work. Thanks again

Hello! Hypnotherapy certainly can help with mild addictions and bad habits, e.g., smoking, nail-biting, over-eating, etc. However, usually hypnotherapists do not prescribe significant changes to diet or exercise unless they are qualified to do so (i.e. have other related qualifications) 🙂

Hi Idrissi ☺ As Mark has mentioned in the video, "hypnotherapist" is not a regulated title in the UK, so technically, anyone can be a hypnotherapist. However, we believe that one should have the right training to be able to help clients create a positive lasting change in their lives, and hypnosis alone won’t do that. That is why we created a unique Hypno-CBT® Diploma that combines cognitive-behavioural therapy, hypnosis and mindfulness. A large meta-analysis showed that adding hypnosis to CBT improves outcomes compared to standard CBT for 70% of patients (Ramundo et al 2021). If you want to learn more about setting up a hypnotherapy practice in the UK, why don’t you come to our free webinar? It runs every Tuesday at 7pm (UK time), and Mark, our College Principal and Lead Trainer, can answer all your questions ☺ You can register here - www.ukhypnosis.com/free-introductory-webinars/

Psychotherapy is the worst poison on the planet. The worst people on the planet become psychotherapists. Therapy is nothing but an insurance scam. If you aren't already crazy when you begin therapy you will be after you are finished with it.
