OLIVIA MILES fits BETTER with ARIKE in the Backcourt than Paige Bueckers, because of OLIVIA being a True Point Guard. Paige is more of a 2 Guard(Shooting Guard), in which DALLAS already having a 2 Guard(Shooting Guard) in ARIKE ! Paige fits Better with The L.A. SPARKS !

Objectively Olivia is the better prospect and the better fit for Dallas right now. But the WNBA also wants to sell tickets and Paige's popularity will probably factor into it. But Paige would probably be better off in L.A. I feel like Olivia has been slightly underrated at times in her career. She was once the No. 2 HS prospect in her class but got dropped to No. 8 after committing to Notre Dame for some reason.

I want Olivia Miles to play one more year.. I selfishly want to see Hildago and Miles a little more. Sigh .. I know, I'm asking too much. Go Notre Dame!

Mystics have the 4th AND 6th picks. No way they take Iriafen at #4 when they have Austin and Edwards. I don't see KiKi being able to play the 3 (and shoot from there) anytime soon. They either trade back or take Malonga for their rebuild. Lots of teams could use an athletic big like Iriafen and the Mystics could cash in on that. Think Golden State would definitely pick Kiki at #5 as the future face of the franchise and if there is a team enamored by Kiki they would have to pull the trigger and make a trade with the Mystics before she is gone.

I agree 100%...Olivia is far better than Paige...Paige is still getting fame off of her Freshman year....Her potential hasn't panned out..Olivia can run a team and her shooting is now where it needs to be and she's going to be more aggressive than Paige in the clutch...(Good point about Arike/Olivia Notre Dame connect too)

I think pao pao would probably be better for Chicago tbh. She’s a better 3 point shooter and has a deeper bag. She also is working under THEE dawn staley so she has PG tendencies and potential

I like Olivia miles but let's just be brutally honest if you actually watch your play style she does not have a high motor at all😮 Hannah and Citron have the high motor, heck you can say the reason why she's so good at passing is because she's to lazy to constantly attack the paint😮

As a sky fan I hope we get Olivia Miles. But as things stand that’s unlikely. Unless Flau’jae comes out. In which case it could be Paige to Dallas, Flau’jae to LA then Olivia to Chicago. I think Dallas needs bigs though, the two that they’ve got Mccowan and Brown are just so inconsistent.

I agree. I think Olivia Miles is even underrated as crazy as that sounds. Reminds me of a Magic Johnson/Haliburton type. She'd be perfect for Wings. Wings suffer from decision making down the stretch and often doesn't have anyone to shore the offense. They aren't lacking in offensive tools in Satou & Arinke. Miles is a high iq playmaker so she would unlock them.

Paige is going number one no matter what. They sold out tickets once they found out they were picking first and the thought of them going with another player is going to speak volumes with their fans.

Sonia Citron would probably do great in Chicago. The draft is very deep this year so they could also probably pick up a new guard with their other 1st round pick.

Paige might have a bigger name but she and Arrike have similar skill-sets so this makes sense for Dallas to take a true PG. I agree the Sparks should go with the youth movement -- while hopefully we level up our organization. Cam Brink, Paige, and Rickea is a crazy big 3 that all fit together for the long term. If you get a table-setting PG and a 4 who can shoot and play D that's a dynasty in the making.

Don't forget about free agency is coming soon. The media and big machine is pushing certain players down our throats. Just became was the number 1 high school recruit, doesn't mean she the number one pick from college. Paige class was last year. Unfortunately, Paige stay hurt. Two bad knees. WNBA is physical. Love people are talking about this. Liv is a better point guard than Paige is now. If Paige could roll back to her high school days it might be different but yeah I would tend to agree but we still got half the season and the tournament to play.

I’m a Wings fan and not bothered by this take at all. If the rumors are correct that Paige doesn’t want to come to Dallas, getting someone who does who might be a better fit doesn’t seem crazy. I wouldn’t take Miles at #1 though. I’d trade back and draft her. Can’t trade too far back though. She is balling out and likely Top 3 or Top 4.

I don't think these takes are delusional. Let's not kid ourselves. Paige as the #1 pick feels more a favor the wnba will do for her for past services rendered rather than current form and fitness. Miles should be #1 and the Paige can go to LA. It will be better for the league and she wants to be there anyway
