Paige is not a freshman. She is working on her basketball Ph.D. I think Geno is trying to get her ready for the next level. But more than anything else, I think Geno is trying to win another championship for UConn, and for Geno. Paige, barring injuries, will probably fit in anywhere, but Olivia might be a better fit for a team that already has a dynamic shooting guard + Satou.

Paige is a perfectionist..she wants to play a highly efficient cleaned up game..she is also a team player and loves to get teammates off.. Pero.. Geno..to me is a nuisance..everybody wants to please the Great Geno.. And his attitude and the way he plays the members are his squad is (in my thinking)..undermining..Geno undermines his players by his fickle attitude and ego.. He has the top talent across the country..3 number ones by McDonald All-Americans .. He doesn't give them consistency to develop the individual players game..he is a discouragement to his team..instills insecurities rather than confidence I'm sorry but I'm not a fan of Geno's..which just dawned on me of late..but I do love Bueckers and company.. My last complaint..I think Geno is the weak link in the Uconn Huskie system..I don't think it's because of him that won them their championship banners.. Jana, Kk, Qadance and zubell..whatever her name is..has no real playing consistency to develop their games...it's erratic as his fickle behavior.. Ok I promise you and myself not to say one more negative thing about Geno..Go Geno lol

Paige is a team player and selfless to a fault. She does need to get stronger and get out of her head. I think Paige will do fine in the W. Paige is a bucket for sure. Just needs to be a little more selfish. Be the baller we all know she is. I’m a SC fan, but I respect game.

Phonetically the perfect assonance is UConn-You can, and the facts demonstrate that UConn can, as its constant presence in recent years (excluding 2023) in the Elite Eight / Final Four has demonstrated; and UConn demonstrated what can last year by coming within a whistle of the final despite a team decimated by injuries. If, as you say, the Big EAST is all about stat padding, why are NCAA individual records typically set in other conferences?
