Well, it's closer to being a flat frequency curve than a lot of other videos. About 3db variation. The swell from 350hz to 550hz, and the drop off around 4khz, are a little odd but ?

This pink noise is perfect for mixing. I was working on an electronic folk, Bon Iver type project and it mixed it almost perfect. Now on to the master and then release the demo.

Pink noise is often used as a background or control noise because research has found that it is less distracting than other types of noise. For example, one study found that participants became less stressed after listening to pink noise, compared with the typical sounds of an intensive care unit.

Footage with speech is often left-biased. This noise clearly tells if the speaker levels are equal.

Doing some calibration here... my spectral analyzer shows a steady dB increase from 200-20k, with almost nothing below that. Shouldn't it be flat across the whole frequency spectrum? Is this a result of youtube compression, or you not generating a full spectrum, or something on my end?

I downloaded the audio of the video from YT to check. The audio file looks fine, here are the frequency analysis results: i.imgur.com/rNkCqbW.png and i.imgur.com/hlqi6Km.png There is a strong drop on the highs and that's due to YT conversion, but the low-end looks fine. It appears like there is something wrong on your end.
