Can you share the circuit of the sensor and the settings on the Bastl Sense module? I could never do anything with this module.

Thanks for the demonstration.. While this is probably of interest only to the relatively few of us who have these cameras, there does seem to be an uptick in interest over the Koni/Rapid Omega cameras, given the increase in videos about it lately.

Just running across this video. It’s smart you wanted to use your own power solution. The 4ms power option is imho is noisy trash. Every power option 4ms has puts out so much noise and should not be explored. Also serendipitously, I went to the make noise skiff and solved all of my noise issues

Hi, do you have a direct link to the power supply? Can't seem to find it. Best, Alex
This idea is brilliant! Looks like it would be fairly easy to modify the design so that a USB jack is mounted on the rear of the pod, and the power wires just run to where the jack would normally be mounted on the bus board, if you wanted it to look super clean. Thanks for sharing this info.

Do you know if the Pittsburgh modular sv-1 will fit in this case?
@resonant_space5 жыл бұрын
If you used a Pod 48X, you could fit the SV-1, but I think it’s too deep for the shallow pods.
@fuenstock5 жыл бұрын
resonant_space Thank you. I’ll look into the 48x pod.

Fantastic. I currently have a Tachyons + Pyschenizer and a v4 which I use to mess with my own shot content but hve been thinking about a vidiot for a while and this just hit it home for me. Cheers
@resonant_space5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Greg. Highly recommend the Vidiot-it has a lot of functionality packed into a small box. It would add a lot of synthesis and video processing to what you already have, and is flat out amazing combined with the V4. I’d like to add some glitch processing to my rig-so many cool options available.
@greghodgson56555 жыл бұрын
Yeah man Im in- ordering vidiot later this week- Perfect circuit have some in stock so dont have to wait for more to be made luckily! I love the pyschenizer- it has amazing character and can be used in so many ways from extreme glitch to very subtle analogue/vhs goodness through the crt. Are you on Instagram? If so whats your name- cheers

Lucky break that PC has it in stock, when you have the $$--haha. I'm thinking of the new Fluxus Duo from BPMC--mainly because I can put it in my rack. I'm in the process of expanding out into the LZX system, along with some old broadcast tv rack gear. I just joined Instagram as resonant_space. How do I follow you?
@greghodgson56555 жыл бұрын
Hovercraft yeah man how I would love to dive into LZX but it’s hard being in Australia as nowhere you can drive to to check out in person plus family life sucks those freedom funds to buy loads of modules etc! The vidiot will do for now! I just started following you I think- I’m greghodgsondesign
@greghodgson56555 жыл бұрын
Hovercraft done man- ordered vidiot today and I’m gonna say it was you who created the tipping point after a lot of thinking about it! Thanks

Why the laser cut 4MS logo on the case is in reversed position? A defect?
@resonant_space5 жыл бұрын
My guess is a manufacturing mistake. It's a minor detail, so I haven't given it a second thought.

Thanks for the review! I was thinking that on your next Pod ;-) you could cut a hole on the left side of the case at the back instead so that the USB connector of the power supply board is flush with or slightly protruding from the side of the case. That way it would be easy to connect/disconnect the cable? Please don't take my comment as negative, I don't think there has ever been a DIY project I've done myself that after I was done I didn't think of a way I could have done things better or at least easier! lol :-)
@resonant_space5 жыл бұрын
Thanks John! That was my original plan, but a local guy wanted $250 to laser cut the opening for the USB port. DC prices-haha. Maybe I’ll take my chances with the dremel for the next one, but it’s a little shaky free-handing it.
@JohnLRice5 жыл бұрын
@@resonant_space Whoa! $250?! I think I would just drill a round hole big enough for it to fit through before I paid that much! ;-) Actually I think the Pod metal is probably thin enough to use a nibbling tool on it? Like #2 in the video linked below which are only $10 to $15: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jnqboIeJl9yJjZo

Hi, very cool demo - do you know if with this setup, you can run multiple solenoids? or only one?
@resonant_space7 жыл бұрын
MartinSedek unfortunately, the field kit only has one DC output channel-that’s the biggest limitation. I just built an art installation using the field kit, and added a Bastl Solenoid module-it adds another four channels
@cultofours26486 жыл бұрын
There is also the DADA Machines Automat. That gives you 16 solenoid outputs!
