hello my friend. yeah it's hard to say, but if you want the views you have to play the algorithm game. it's always been this way. but you don't have to always draw popular characters that you don't enjoy drawing. a lot of big art channels found their viewers by drawing their own characters and designs. You can play the algorithm game without selling your soul. you have huge potential. I hope things pan out the way you want.

Im not a guy with the best advice so don’t take it too heart but maybe just take a break or something, do something with friends and just chill. Identify what exactly you like and dont like about each piece and look at how you can improve upon it in the next piece, have a certain goal you want to achieve, i want to practice anatomy in this, i want to practice color and light in this piece, i want to practice texture in this piece, etc. etc. Dont just jump into a piece and spend the whole day on it getting bogged down in the details, really try to learn from it. Have an idea? Paint from references that are similar to the idea you have in mind and then apply that knowledge to the imaginative piece. Make simpler pieces and youll learn even more allowing you to create complex scenes at an easier pace. Perhaps you know this if not, i hope i helped a bit.

im sorry if I am being a bit skeptical and too in depth but here we go Art is something that is based on creativity and the ability to execute it correctly. That means that, as the artist, you may see so many errors in your art that it alters your perception of how others view your art, mean while the people looking at your art appreciates it the way it is. Asking, "have I improved?" is highly subjective, and it should be, instead, "have I been trying?" Improvement at something that is purely creativity is impossible because there are so many possibilities. This infinite amount of possibilities means that it is impossible to judge and compare every single art piece you made and create an accurate depiction of whether or not you have "improved" Since it is impossible to go through every single artwork you have created and look purely at the details, you tend to focus on the negative things you have spotted in your artwork, and when your brain learns to spot those things, it becomes a habit that you spot errors in the work you are making, creating a sense of hatred towards yourself for not overcoming that error. This is then amplified when you look at work in the past. Of course, this is all speculation but I feel like this is an accurate portral of how all artists feel. Basically, don't be so harsh on yourself. Of course, you are improving. You are just too busy focusing on the mistakes to realize what you're doing more right.

I feel like I am just coming out of this phase. And believe me, I know how rough it is to go through it on your worst days. The best advice I can give you is find artists and art that you are truly interested and genuinely inspire you to continue create. Never forget to have fun when you make art, and forgive yourself. It seriously helps.

I think we all go through this similar phase. Where we undermine our own skills. I think it's because where we want to be is not where we're at, but pursuing it will get us there eventually as long as we're disciplined and dedicated to it.

Don't try to make it perfect, don't even try to make it good. Finish it to the best of your ability, put it out there, then make a better one. Trail and error is how we grow. Trust the process and keep going, you got this.

Its understandable, all we wanna do is create something others can enjoy and we wanna do it as perfect as possible. And if we find flaws in our work, we cant accept, how can we expect others to accept it, am i right? The truth is, that others never judge as hard as we judge ourself. Obsession over perfection is a realy dangerous mindeset to be in. Our focus shifts soly onto finding flaws in our work and if we only lookout for flaws, we lose sight for all the things we did well. And instead of appreciating, what we created, we lern to hate it. Up until the point, in which we completely discard it for not being good enough. Dont let Obsession trap you in dissatisfaction, Art espacily is not meant to be perfect flaws can add caracter and uniqueness to a piece, just like they do with humans.

with my art, i feel sort of the same i do still life paintings and lack confidence at the very end. however, i feel like thats a normal thought process with learning how to grow as an artist- frankly it doesnt even have to relate to art your brain will constantly try to second guess yourself when you are starting to change and grow because its new and unpredictable. "how will others think about [insert thing]" "will i fail?" when you accept these thoughts and work to rewire your brain, thats when you truly allow yourself to freely do what your dreams happen to be dont over think, your comic will be great ! if you dont like the end product, take note of changes you think would be better and continue to grow to your liking
