I can't get any information on the abc television series Nashville. Is that the name of the series on abc?? I like the Will character (star) and I wish he would make western movies. He has the looks of a western character for movies. I know movie westerns are "not in" right now but they can make a come-back with this guy.

I love the raspy release sound she makes on “the marvelous WAAAY that I feel” it really creates of feeling of exuberance and jubilation. She was such a master of phrasing and interpretation.

At first I thought the audio at the end of the video of Rockabye Your Baby was done by Kate Smith !! Jerry Lewis really belted it out !

When she died, she looked a lot older than 47. I would love to see her birthplace in Grand Rapids, MN. I’m only about 2 hours from it. 😊

9:06- "I've been working for 43 years!" That wasn't an exaggeration on Miss Garland's part during this 1967 interview. She had been put to to fulfill her female DNA Donor's ambition for her to be a star starting in 1924- when she was just TWO years old!

Judy truly hugged and kissed her children constantly to keep herself grounded. She was most comfortable with her children at her side

This should have been the format of The Judy Garland Show, where she would sing some songs and interview people. She looked so comfortable behind that desk and her star power and personality and wit, would have been successful. You can’t run a thoroughbred every day and you can’t put a talent like Garland’s and expect her to survive the weekly grind of a huge television show! MGM worked the poor girl to exhaustion by making her star in three motion pictures a year working 18 hours a day 6 days a week. Judy was the biggest star in Hollywood and the world but she was still a human being. God bless this woman for everything she gave her audiences and fans. I wish she could see that she’s more loved than ever and still gaining more recognition and fans due to the internet. She was The greatest Legend, show business ever had or will ever have! ❤

06.06.24: 😂Most artists are so critical of their performances; and, rarely care to watch themselves on film, or even hear their own voices. Yet, I wonder if after filming this movie, Ms. Garland, sat down after watching, and was totally pleased & in awe with her performance.

She could win over Stalin the way she attempts to connect with the interviewer, charming him from his impertinent questions., to lighten up. She made it her job to lighten up the audience, she tries her best to make the interviewer see her side. A charmer. A snake charmer.

Judy was a bit overweight, but she still had those nice legs. Performers were used to draw people to the casinos, and they did. Wonder how much Judy was paid for this gig. She should have asked for casino stock in lieu of salary. She would have died a millionaire.
