Would this screen work if it replaced the standard 1920x1200 that came with my Lenovo Legion Slim 5? My screen works fine but i was wondering if i bought that QHD panel, could i in theory "upgrade" my screen or will there be a code/software/programming mismatch?

This is a very nice machine. I use t mostly for photo editing using a second screen and an 8TB external drive. Those files are big. Cant say the machine was designed for routine , easy maintenance. That large grill at the back could have been removable to access the cooler fans for cleaning. And they absolutely do get messy. And the keyboard. The one item that gets the most physical wear and they hide it behind a workflow not suitable for the faint hearted. The plastic rivets are absurd. For a moment, at one point, I thought you picked up the soldering iron with your bare hands. It was the screwdriver. I'm assuming you replaced the thermal paste on those chips. Of course you did. A good video, thanks for posting.

Hello LCD Republic Tutorial! I have the AN515-55-50J3 version of Acer Nitro 5 and the LCD is flickering. I have the B156HAN13.0 120Hz eDP1.4 but the shop sent me N156HRA-EA1 144Hz eDp1.3. Will it work? Both has 40 pins. The main difference is the Hz and the eDP. I don't need the higher Hz to be honest. I just want to replace the screen.

Just repaired today with new LCD Panel directly from Lenovo: * Lenovo DISPLAY INX 15.6 FHD IPS AG (Référence :01YN133) Removing the bezel with breaking the notches is the most difficult part... You should have a credit card or a mediator or something thin and strong. Beside that, everything works as expected. I'm just wondering why some double face tape is needed. Anyway thanks for the tuto, even if there's no sound :)

im not experience but, removing plastic with cutter is hard, so i tried using soldering gun that has triggers, so melting the plastic and holding it for 3 second(untriggered), also blowing the tip of the gun so the plastic that melted sticks to the gun,
