Hi, porestudiartanto. I'm using 365 and it doesn't work. is there anything I need to do in options "formulas" in excel that might get it to work on 365?

Ok Found the error i was using a superscript 0 instead of a ° symbol, it now works in Excel 365.

I was enforced to review basic concepts just to confirm your statement "the inflection point is the point of the curve at which there is a significant move" is not accurate enough and there is no sense in stating that the intercept bethween your best fit and the original graph is an inflexion point. You must ALWAYS find at least one common point between both, but your graph does not have a point in which curvature changes. It's always pointing up

Hola el codigo esta mal pero lo moví un poco y ya da resultados correctos se los dejo Function Convert_Decimal(Degree_Deg As String) As Double ' Declare the variables to be double precision floating-point. Dim degrees As Double Dim minutes As Double Dim seconds As Double ' Set degree to value before "°" of Argument Passed. degrees = Val(Left(Degree_Deg, InStr(1, Degree_Deg, "°") - 1)) ' Set minutes to the value between the "°" and the "'" ' of the text string for the variable Degree_Deg divided by ' 60. The Val function converts the text string to a number. minutes = Val(Mid(Degree_Deg, InStr(1, Degree_Deg, "°") + 1, _ InStr(1, Degree_Deg, "'") - InStr(1, Degree_Deg, _ "°") - 1)) / 60 ' Set seconds to the number to the right of "'" that is ' converted to a value and then divided by 3600. seconds = Val(Mid(Degree_Deg, InStr(1, Degree_Deg, "'") + _ 1, Len(Degree_Deg) - InStr(1, Degree_Deg, "'") - 1)) _ / 3600 Convert_Decimal = degrees + minutes + seconds End Function

Please take this video off. There is no point of inflection on your graph.. Concavity or CURVATURE must change in order to have a point of inflection. Your graph is completely concave up. Please take this video down.

It worked for me in Excel 2010, but had to make some adjustments, had copied my data from word to excel and initially getting #value or #name error until I changed all my ' and " from the version used in word, to the slightly different format excel using Find and Replace All. When going into visual basic select the "add module" from the toolbar.

Ben is right. Inflection is change in pattern your pattern has not changed at 62 so the whole thing is wrong. I tried this with a vz stock and the inflection point was at 852 month from 2008, totally wrong.
